For those of you who are participating in my community fanfic next year to celebrate My Little Pony's 40th anniversary and want more details, I finally have what you desire. All details can be found on this document, and I would advise you to read everything even though it may seem long. This doc contains rules, a schedule, important details to note, and the first chapter, which you are able to read so that you may start to think about what you want your own chapter to be like.
I am just the host of this story. From now on, the fate of Equestria is in the hands (or hooves, or claws or talons or whatever) of this community, and I cannot wait to see what we will accomplish.

40 years wow how the time goes I was never a big fan of My Little Pony even when G3 came around but then G4 came around it changed my mind at least in that generation but they did succeed for a long time so that's a pretty good way to celebrate it
40 years, wow! Not exactly sure what to write for the Exposition part after looking at the doc. If you could give me some pointers on what should be going on in that part, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Judging by what's going on, my guess is that Megan most likely will be gutting an exclusion via a snub, just some cameo where she only gets mentioned in passing just like the all the other times, I thought there would be a real comeback for her. As usual, there is no love for her. Then again, her original existence was most likely just to get those interested in this franchise and nothing more, because when G1 was over she was treated as if she was dead and never to be brought back again. If not for the fanart and fanfics in the last decade that showed her interacting with G4 characters, that would have still been the case. On a side note, MLP Tales isn't G2, it's G1.5, and there was a G2 version for MLP, but it wasn't made into a TV series like the rest in being just a toy line only.

Hi there! I’ll answer since bookhorse125 seems busy. Basically it’s a community fanfic/collaboration project meant to celebrate 40 years of My Little Pony. Ponies of ALL five generations must team up and work together in order to stop the return of the real Grogar and his sinister intentions after he is freed from the stars. Since this is by all intents and purposes, a community project, all authors no matter their skill level, follower count, preferred genre or generation, are welcome to participate.

Hi there, is this a follow-on story? Meaning that I have to read the chapters in order and then carry on the story from there? Or is each chapter a blank slate based on your original premise?

I would love to contribute, but my commitment schedule is something less than desirable. I mean, it once took me 4 years to update a chapter...
It would be a disservice to your readers if I happened to join in only to have to wait indefinitely for an update on a chapter. I have subscribed, so I will read along. If I change my mind, I will let you know.
