After one of their worse arguments, Princess Rarity starts to avoid Twilight, spending more and more time in her room. That wouldn't be quite as much of a problem, if not for Twilight's duty to protect the Princess at all times.

Written as my second entry in Monochromatic's Raritwi contest and set in her Bodyguard AU, which in turn is based on Earthsong9405's AU that I've never actually read.

In the wake of another hedonistic sleepover, the Cutie Mark Crusaders wile away the last of their weekend lounging about the clubhouse, reading comics, listening to music and stuffing their faces with junk food. However, their after party revelries come to a screeching halt when an unscheduled rainstorm rolls into Ponyville that turns creatures into twisted nightmares. There is much they don't know about the situation but one thing is clear: never touch the rain. Now stranded without adults by a storm seemingly without end, the three must try to survive in a leaky shelter on nothing but the leftovers of their sleepover aftermath. As the waters continue to rise, the status of Ponyville or even the Apple family, just yards away, remains unknown.

A comfy horror story based on childhood memories of rain, floods, parties and classic kids' games spawned from overactive imaginations.

A strange artifact arrives at Twilight's library and turns her into a dragon. From there, everypony she touches suffers a similar fate and the contagion begins to spread! Twilight and her friends struggle to avoid spreading it further in this comedic misadventure of dragons and the fiery spells they weave. Can Twilight find a cure?

Sweetie Belle notices that Rarity has been acting a bit strange lately. She seems distant, melancholy, and preoccupied. Sweetie Belle finally finds a convenient moment to ask one of Rarity's grown-up friends, Applejack, to see if she can find out what has her acting so bizarrely. Given no other outlet, Rarity reveals to Applejack that she has recently received some life-altering news. Applejack tries to help her friend work through the strange, forlorn sense of shame and confusion that haunts her life in the wake of a discovery over which she had no power, and which leaves her wondering who she really is, and what she really wanted, all along.

This is the last in a series of one-shots focusing on the versions of the Mane Six depicted in my novel, "The Sun Eater." You do not have to have read that work to understand this piece. It is a stand-alone work meant to stand on its own merit. If you do read -- or especially have already read -- that work, I deeply appreciate it, and thank you. If you want to read it, and have not, you will have to turn your "mature" filter off due to some graphic violence that I felt warranted the rating. For those unfamiliar with this universe, be forewarned, these are not Hasbro ponies. They drink, they smoke, they cuss, and they... Well, you get the idea. That said, this is NOT a clopfic. There is no explicit sexual material in this or any other of my works. If that's your thing, no judgment here, -- love and tolerate, after all -- but you'll have to look elsewhere to find it.

Sweetie Belle comes home from school in tears after an encounter with local bullies, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Rarity tries to help by telling her little sister about how she was bullied back she was a filly and with a little help from a friend, she was able to stand up for herself.

To love somepony is easy. To let them into your heart, somepony you care for, somepony you want to protect, somepony you would do anything for. Letting them in is easy. The pain comes when you lose them. This is something Applejack is not unaware of. However, after suffering yet another crippling loss of life to one of her own, the well-known farm pony begins to lose herself, falling into a pit of despair, trapping herself in a cycle of self-blame, anger, and agony. Watching her friend do this to herself is unbearable for Rarity, who makes her way to the farm determined to try and help the friend who doesn’t want it. But she has to try. Because, isn’t that what friends are for?

Fusion Magic. A seldom used spell, since the result ALWAYS has a mind of her own. Fine Apple was conjured to do one job and then dissolve. She was NOT conjured to socialize while working. But hey, its not like a fusion has to stick around and face the consequences of their own actions.
