For a fic about the spread of an unknown disease, this feels surprisingly relaxing and low-stakes. I like it--I've been reading too many dark fics lately, and this is a nice change of pace. I'll give it a like for now, and read-later it for when it's complete.

Poor Spike, now the demand for gems has quintupled while the supply remains constant. At this rate gems will be more expensive than caviar in a few hours. Also, Rarity should actively try to spread this from a rational PoV. She is one of a select few who can efficiently find gems, she'd be rich!
Oh, and I wonder how age affects transformed size. If I'm not mistaken Sweetie Belle was described as a bit smaller than the mane six. So I wonder if the castle will survive if Celestia/Luna with their millenia of age get turned.
You know, this reminds me of the story I wrote, Dragon Chronicles, except Rainbow Dash turns into a dragon by drinking a potion, and she is purposely spreading it. Don't ask.
