A sequel to the story Salmon Run by my outstanding friend Mushroom. It is advised to read that story before this one, although they can realistically be read in any order. But you should still read it (it's very good).

Written in about an hour with permission from the original author as part of the Quills and Sofas Nostalgia Contest speedwrite.

When Princess Cadance started sending coded letters to Queen Chrysalis via an old changeling dead-drop, the Queen was sure it was a trap.

But the invitation to take Cadance's place for a Hearth's Warming was too tempting to pass on. And so - a truce was struck. For now.

It has been eight years since the Alicorn Civil War, and Equestria can still feel the scars of the war for the heavens. Eight-year-old Glacial Zero has just earned his cutie mark and a whole new set of memories to go with them. Now, he must make sense of a future that may not be certain and a special talent that most would deem unnatural.

This story is inspired by "Life Finds a Way" and "Dawn's New Day."

This story, like those that inspired it, has light RGRE elements.

This story is as far out of my comfort zone as structurally possible; feedback and thoughts are welcomed.

When Princess Celestia had not only denied her what she deserved, but cast her out as well, Sunset Shimmer would not let that deter her. She would have what she so desperately sought, even of she had to risk it all to get it. That’s why, armed with only a set of saddlebags full to bursting and the vague, unreliable knowledge on the magical mirror that had shown the unicorn her destiny, she had traveled to the realm beyond its surface, hoping to gain something that would prove the Princess wrong.

But what she found there was nothing short of a nightmare, a hellish realm beyond most ponies ability to imagine....

For those that have read it, this is technically a one-shot that takes place in the same continuity as my main story Cross the Rubicon, though this takes place some years before that...

Originally written in response to a monthly writing prompt on Krickis’ Discord server, I wasn't satisfied with a paltry 1000 words that only scratched the surface of the idea. So I ended up taking it and expanding it. It's a tad unnerving, given that the original prompt was inspired by Halloween month, but its less Modern horror, more dread and suspense.

It was a dark and stormy day when I began the next chapter of my latest book, which was concerning, given that it had been sunny just moments before.

Choosing an apartment to live in is important and requires good planning. Location, needs, cost, a lot must be taken into account when looking.

One girl looks to her animals and peace, hoping to have a quiet, fun time with her friends as she goes through high school. For her, the apartment is cheap, comfortable, allows pets, and is close to school. Perfect!

The other is looking to take over a high school, enslave everyone inside, and bring war to another dimension all in the name of proving her mentor wrong. A small, cheap apartment near the school to plan in is all she needs.

Fluttershy really should have met the neighbors before signing her lease...
