After years of exile in Tartarus, Nightmare Moon finds herself back in Equestria, at the request of her sister. Celestia hopes to repair their relationship, but she enlists someone.... unique to guide Nightmare Moon along the path to reformation.

Just a stupid AiE short I came up with, told in first person as Nightmare Moon. Originally, I started out writing it as part of a chapter of Changing Lanes, before spinning off the idea and completely rewriting it as its own story.

Equestria is a land of ponies. Others do live among them to be sure, but by and large, they are far fewer and far between. Canterlot in particular, as the nation's capital, has always been predominantly pony.

So one day, when a family of minor nobility bring a griffon infant into their family, can the child overcome the prejudices of the capital's elite and the disdain of her own kind?

What will life be like for a griffon amidst a world of ponies?

Her aunt is always patronizing her by trying to protect her from things she doesn't even need protection from!
For Dinky, it's frustrating and annoying and it makes her angry. All that Dinky wants is to be treated with respect by her aunt and do the things she wants to do, but her aunt just doesn't listen.....
What lies ahead of Dinky is the worst week of her life.
