Nearly all phenomena in Equestria are explained by "Magic" but what explains magic? This backstory follows the rise and fall of SCIENCE in Equestria and the stories it developed along the way.

Magic is used to describe events; The party was magical, or, I do not understand that, ergo, magic.

My goal in this backstory is to develop a scientific system for discovering the workings of magic. I will pull examples from the show and use them to attempt to prove my theorems from a first-person perspective. There will be failures, successes, explosions and more SCIENCE all along the way.

I'm the only brony in my family, so when we're forced into Equestria because of Nuclear Holocaust through a half-functioning portal, it becomes my responsibility to help my family adjust. But what do you do with 16 humans-turned-ponies in a world that has no idea of the horrors that they endured? As it turns out, you put them to work on a farm...

This was my first story here on FimFiction, and is currently in the process of being edited, so there may be some unusual continuity errors. I sort of wrote myself into a corner, and as such had stopped updating for a few years. I believe that I have found a solution to this, and will continue to write this story as I have time and inspiration to do so; This story will never die, but I can't guarantee that I will update frequently.

Oh wow! Thanks to everyone who has shown an interest in my hokey little story over here! Don't know what caused the sudden influx of readers, but I'm thankful all the same. I am still planning to come back to this story at some point, and finish it! This I promise.

Midnight Clad is a Night Guard, a trained soldier bound by solemn oath, who one day hopes to join Princess Luna's honor guard.

Pure happenstance brings the two together, and leaves them hungry for answers, most especially Midnight, whose every waking thought is subsumed by the elegant Fleur.

But the Night Guard are seldom seen for a reason. Ancient rules and the pressures of society weigh heavily, and Midnight Clad is forced to make a decision:

Either play it safe, and adhere to the mandate laid down centuries before.

Or throw caution to the wind, and see just how deep the rabbit hole goes...

Having been assigned a project about researching lost civilizations, and learning how friendship could have helped them survive, the Student Six try to find something unique. They find in the form of a sphere hologram projection, which tells about a different world that is plagued by ghouls, deathclaws, and super mutants. A world where various factions fight for survival, and to rebuild the human race in their image. A world that is both harsh and dangerous where friendship and decent kindness are a rarity.

This is the second book of Aeternitas trilogy. In this one (because the lack of tags) categories Tragedy, Science Fiction, Random, Comedy, Alternative Universe(s) and Romance are included.

This part of the story has more comedy/romance/adventure twist, in contrary to the first one.

While performing some organizational duties in her trusty library, Twilight gets distracted with the revelation that Pinkie Pie has been checking out some unusually advanced books. When Twilight notices the books are over-due, she simply must pay Pinkie a visit. Upon arrival though, Twilight quickly finds herself caught up in a plan only Pinkie would attempt to capture the heart of a certain pegasus that she loves.
