This story is a sequel to Amphorae

A Twin Canterlots story—third in the Brass Ring series

Spike, number-one assistant, is happy to seal up and send off Twilight’s correspondence through the portal, where Sunset will take care of mailing it. He follows the instructions he’s given to the letter. Too bad he missed one critical point. . . .

Takes place about ten months after “Through the Mirror” and four months after “Rainbow Rocks”—late in season five.

Inspired by a comment from FanOfMostEverything on Amphorae—specifically, Twilight’s letter making up the chapter “Epistolary Interlude”.

It had been a long, weird, night. Twilight Sparkle had a dream about being turned down by Rainbow Dash. That didn't make any sense, she didn't love her cyan friend.

Did she?

That thought being pushed out of her mind, Twilight starts through her day. It seems as though there's something off about her, though.

Yes... this is a pointless story. I just wrote it while i was tired. I wanted to give it another shot at writing here.

Lunchnapping! That's what it was. A brazen crime in broad daylight. The delicious carrot dog was in Spike's claw one moment and airborne the next, spirited away by a flying thief.

Now, Spike's on a mission to get back what's his. Unfortunately for him, city birds are a lot tougher than they look.

Spike hates himself. One morning, he says it out loud for his best friend to hear. That morning would soon turn into one of the most challenging self-reflections he would ever face, one that would send him on a day filled with anxiety, heart-to-heart conversations about the mind, and the possibility of changing for the better.

A total revamp of the original, Spike Hates Himself. The concept is very similar (obviously), but the story-line is not the same.

WARNING: Absurd humor, laced with a real serious perspective of suicide. If you can't handle these two intermixing, you might not want to read this story. You have been warned.
