Misty has recently reformed and decided to help her friends defeat Opaline. She acts as a spy for them and tells them Opaline's secrets and moves. But they didn't expect to be able to take her down so soon. When Misty says Opaline wants a smoothie, they hatch a plan to stop her, but it ends up going a little farther then they anticipated.

After being forced to do stand up because none of his friends and marefriend wanted to, they forced Spike on the stage. Spike has a huge stage fright phobia. Sure, he did the Hearths Warming Eve play script but that was easier because it was planned. And he wasn't being made fun of by the town for it. He decides to leave the town and make new friends, leaving Starlight in the process.

(I'm not a huge shipper of Spike and Starlight, I ship Trixie and Starlight. I just want this story to be as sad as possible and what better way to make it sad than your partner leaving you? Comments are shut off because of rude and negative comments to each other. I don't tolerate that behavior nor do I tolerate negative likes because of that drama going on the the comments. Hopefully you all understand. I don't tolerate any form of disrespect to anyone, even if I don't agree with them.)

After you suddenly appeared in the Crystal Empire one day, Princess Cadance personally saw to it that you were taken care of as you adjusted to your new life. She's been a great friend to you, and thankful though you may be for everything she has done for you, you have a few hangups about the way the "Princess of Love" does things.

Set during... I dunno, the hiatus between S5 and S6, this story is all about Spike going missing and a desperate Twilight trying to find him. Starlight turns up for some reason. Not as exciting as it sounds, but hopefully funnier.

This story was originally written for the Thousand Words Contest II but because I can't edit for toffee, it doesn't qualify. Oh well, next time there's a less than 1331 words competition I'll sure to romp home!!
