Looks like Celestia is listening to someone other than Mr egomaniac I can't give my friend a fair trial. She has begun to realize that he is a good person whatever else he might be and he wouldn't care if she was the only princess in the world it still won't matter to him and he cares about her sister feelings and trys to his best.
Never understood how starswirl could have been so stupid in the. Your friend takes your stuff without asking and you assume that they planned something bad with it.

Perhaps due to Twilight's confrontation, they were both thrown into the timeline, where they may be in different eras of time. Twilight is stuck in the future and Starlight is stuck in the past. This is where she meets and recognizes the main character. There is also the thought that Starlight might get stuck, let's say because of her mistake. When fighting the princess, she cast an oblivion spell to block the alicorn's memories. But it turned out that Twilight reflected the spell and sent it to Starlight before they were thrown back by the timeline. And all in order to take the Princess of Friendship out of the game until she changes the future.

Tia joining the couples as a second wife later to not be alone. Time line and cannon messed up even more potentially him becoming an alicorn while fighting through time.
Honestly only way I could see it more chaotic is if tia while depressed and alone setup some law the female alicorns could only marry together one male as to solve the problem her and Luna had not realizing other alicorns later on which would make things bad later marrying luna.

I'm not sure that he will decide to agree to your idea. Ostri loves Luna, and the author hinted at this. Celestia can play a joke as if she is courting or vice versa. She already has a boyfriend. If it really was, then they would have to marry because of the law of twin sisters. And about the dark arch, where there is a confrontation between the two sisters, then this is the will of the author.

Than not only will nightmare moon happen it will be so much worse with probably alot of others dead including tia's supposed boyfriend who I'm expecting to be another noble disappointment.
