A chance encounter in the realm of dreams links Princess Celestia with a creature from another reality.
Soon Equestria is overrun by an alien nation hoarding power and hunting a sinister eldritch truth. For Celestia and friends it seemed all that mattered was regaining their freedom and restoring normality. Yet it may be too late for either. The eager colonists are hounded by demoniac foes with no regard for innocent Equestrian life. Meanwhile the pandimensional empire of Zaul is committed to stirring up more trouble than anypony can handle... without their help.
Open rebellion is impossible. Only patience, cunning and cleverness can leverage a better future. Whatever happens Equestria and the world will never be the same.

I hope this doesn't sound really silly, but I'd like it to be a mystery for a while. The fact that it's a crossover is almost incidental to the story itself and I've taken a lot of liberties in expanding the setting. It's more an inspiration than anything. I'll probably blow my cover in one or two chapters, assuming I haven't already.

I love slow burn mysteries in stories where the protagonist has now clue what's happening around them. There isn't something that will grip my attention just yet, with the aura of confusion there is at the moment, which is the point of the creating the atmosphere the moment, But I think I will find out in due course. Still I will keep an eye on this one.
I am not sure but what sort crossover is this story again I am not familiar with it? The synopsis doesn't give me a clue on it.

They have some shelter, and some water. They might have a way to avoid the heat of a metal oven.
And ... little to no food beyond emergency rations.
And a story description that portends of disasters yet to come.
So lets see where this goes to next.
Hum, not much happened other then then showing how co-dependent they are of each other, they are bother from different worlds then they were from and that their scratching at the bottom of the barrel for resources. I wonder if his hope is to get Celestia in good enough health to scout over for any possible oasis that he could get so much needed water from or just get her to mount her to get away from this death slow trap.
Really enjoying this, really want to see where this goes, if she ever gets back, goes back, what the human world is like in this reality, if they ever meet anyone else, ect. Please continue working on it. You've created a really interesting setting.
