When Chrysalis, former queen of the changelings, is finally found, it seems something strange has happened to her. The once proud and noble queen now has cats. A lot of cats.

(An idea based off of a brief conversation with YuGiOh Brony in the comments of A Changeling at the Breakfast Table. However, the two stories are in no way connected. So while I might encourage others to read it as a way to shamelessly plug myself, there is no need to in order to enjoy this story.)

Chrysalis disguised as an unicorn was just sitting in ponyville park. She was not feeding on the abundant love around her. She wasn't attacking ponies and encasing them in cocoons, in fact all that she was doing was watching the ponies go on about their business on this Hearts and Hooves day. Starlight knew that she was up to something but she hadn't moved or done anything other then watch pony couples and it was driving Starlight crazy.

Chrysalis tries to get revenge the legal way. She has to fight for legal supremacy against the Princess of Friendship.

Little Twilie uses legal work so she doesn't have to make a friend. Celestia is not amused.

I don't know what to believe anymore. I was sure they were all monsters, all demons bent on destroying any peace I and my new friends might find in this life.

I was wrong.

Instead of burning this world down around me, their weapons are pointed away from the planet, not towards it.

As if that conundrum wasn't perplexing enough, I also have to deal with finding my own place in this odd, yet familiar society. But how does one simply go back to being normal? Especially knowing that the real monsters that caused this mess in the first place could be just around the corner?

After all, it's not like I'll ever see my home planet again. They may not be here to hurt me or my friends, but I still don't trust these 'friendly' aliens to get me a ride home...

Life living inside the Changeling hive is honestly pretty baller. Everyone keeps to themselves. You get to 'hang out' with the Changeling Queen. But when you get scolded for cleaning your belly-button lint in public, you learn something quite special.
