On her way back from one of Pinkie Pie's parties, Applejack was bitten by a strange timberwolf. After that night, the others noticed that Applejack has been acting a little strange. And after pony couple were attacked by a strange pony-like timberwolf, other decide to investigate. It's soon discovered that Applejack has been changed to Timberjack. And the only way to stop her is to enlist the help of a friend of the night...Flutterbat!

Of course, she's still Pinkie Pie, and when Rainbow and her Wingpony, Cloudchaser, come in after a long training session, she decides to give them a special meal. Growth ensues.

The newly coronated Princess Twilight suffers an abrupt tragedy. Having lost two loved ones, she begins to question her own mortality, and that of her friends.

AJ, Dash, Rarity, Pinkie, Fluttershy. . . they are just the beginning. Twilight will live for thousands of years, so every pony she cares about—every pony she will ever care about, will die.

She could barely handle the pain of one funeral, let alone the thought of hundreds of them. Twilight finds a clever way to ensure all of her friends never die. They can’t all be ageless alicorns, but they can all move into Twilight’s Dollhouse. Then they can be best friends forever.

Jacob doesn't consider himself a special individual. Average, maybe. Intellectual? far from such. He has show interest in history in the past, though. So when he winds up in Equestria through an ancient ruin that still contained a fifty thousand year old magical charge, he becomes very interested in history. He decides to look more into Equestria's past, the time before the ponies arrived there.

Luckily, he won't be doing it alone. The Princess of the Night has shown a recent interest in history as well, and together the two explore ancient relics from Equestria's past.

When they find something during the exploration of an ancient buried chamber though, everything changes for both of them.

Equestria is still recovering from the effects of Discord's tainted tea. The air of calm determination from the princesses has prevented chaos in their panicky pony population. Now is the time to move forward and adapt to these changes, either one's own or those of family, friends and neighbors.
