Twilight's made several mistakes over the course of her life, but each was, more or less, minor. Even turning the population of Ponyville into a mob over her childhood doll was corrected easily and forgiven quickly. But when she ignored all of her teachings and left her friends to search for the Crystal Heart alone, she made a mistake that would cost her the life she cherished. She fought fire with fire, and ended up burnt.

PPS: I need to do a full re-work of the concept in light of re-reads. Twilight's section turned out fine, but I ended up hating Luna's section and her story was integral to Twilight's. I'm also working on something else right now, so I may not have the chance to return. I'm sorry guys, but for now I'll be walking away from this one.

Everyone has their own talents, their own gifts. I have a gift, a talent that is special in it's own right. However, my gift is no real gift. My gift doesn't make me a prodigy. My gift doesn't help me excel at life in my own ways. My gift destroys. My gift creates enemies, and separates me from the ones I love. My gift controls me as much as I control it. Princess Celestia finally unveils a brand new spell that unveils Twilight to many new adventures that could not have been explored here on Equestria.

My version of Lauren Faust ending up in Equestria. I probably got her character all wrong. Hey, I never met her, cut me some slack.

So, Lauren Faust is Queen of Equestria in this story. How will she react? How will everypony else react? And what does Pinkie's chimicherrychangas have to do with all of this? One thing is clear already. For Twilight and her friends it won't be the same.

Added AU tag, 'cause someone mentioned it would be safe. And when I think about it, I don't think we ever get to learn who the princesses parents are.

Just a note, this is set during season two. So the events of "A Canterlot Wedding" haven't happened yet.

What I did realize, they seem to enjoy my brand of humor, something I could enjoy and appreciate.

Once they had followed me home, they explained part of the situation; they need a Queen, and they figured I would be perfect for the position.
