The Everstorm had left it's mark on history once again. In the wake of the fallout, and perhaps afterwards, the worlds we know had been given a whole new era to deal with. And time, as we all know, doesn't stop for anypony, and new things can happen all the time. And in these changes, a whole new princess of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle, has now been passed as the true successor to Celestia. Not to mention too, about the big events following Steven Universe's true identity as a noble and royal member of the diamond Authority! Will this make life easier for them?
Well, every new change isn't without its catch, and new changes are also being put underway: A visit back home reveals old customs far too enforced, and new creatures are guaranteed to make things just a little bit more bothersome. You know, as always with life. It's time to test the durability of the Harmony Gems, as they stand up to the tasks ahead in loyalty, and adapting.

Sans knew he was going to die. He’d held off the little megalomaniac as long as he could, but even the power his father had bestowed upon him had failed him. But, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Summer's around once again, and it'd been about a full year since the Mane Six first met the Crystal Gems. So much has happened since them, from Earth, to Homeworld, to Equestria. So much fun, adventure, and danger had come and go. The Gems and Ponies are here with their next big thing. They've gone all over the galaxy so far, and now they got their next surprise right back at home. Now they got the first ever Human-Gem fusion in history! With one half a full human, and the other a hybrid to begin with, this fusion's got a lot to learn about the world.

Oh, and Homeworld can visit Earth anytime they want to now, thanks to their own little Warp Pad, curtesy of our favorite Draconequus. Yep, there's that ...

Shadow is a genetically engineered xenomorph who lost everything. His hive was destroyed and he was tricked into going into trap that was to get him off the ship he stowed away on. He crash lands on an unknown world and sees an opportunity to finally live without the worry of WY. When he discovers a small cottage and discovers that there isn't a human living in it but a talking pony, his life flips upside down. These creatures treat him nicer than the humans and he vows to not let WY step foot on this planet. He will start his own hive and hope to find a way to have his species strive once more. Will he succeed or will he be captured and experimented on?

And what a time for that: the grand gems themselves need it the most. Just how much trouble will both worlds end up in, especially when one world is connected to another thanks to a force beyond them both? Will there be friends, foes, or both? On one moment, they all were fleeing the White Diamond Space Station, ready to fly away in the Sun Incinerator, but all it took was one hit from a reckless Corrupted monster to swing them all crashing into the abandoned Gem Colony of the Jungle Moon! Now the Crystal Gems, the Mane Six, and several others from Earth, Homeworld, and Equus alike are left stuck on the Jungle Moon, and with only one goal: get home. Who knows where this'll end up?

Even if they get home, just how much are they going to get into? And how much will be waiting for them? Well, whatever it is, it's time for them to buckle up and get their flanks into gear! It's gonna be a tricky one, this season. Everything's about to change.
