Twilight is helping her to become 'a' great and powerful unicorn like herself, and Trixie is learning fast, and has also learned the meaning of friendship, which she also has made friends with the other mane 6. Enough on that, so Trixie is practicing a spell, but it then becomes too much for her to handle and before Twilight can intervene, both are struck by the magic. After Winona has a run in with a skunk, Applejack does the natural thing and takes her to Fluttershy to be cleaned up. However, while taking care of the poor collie, Fluttershy realizes something; she doesn't know how Applejack got Winona in the first place. Curiosity gets the best of the timid pegasus and she asks. What she discovers not only reveals a lot about the little dog, but about Applejack as well.

Now curious as to what her other friend's pets mean to them, Fluttershy wonders about how Pinkie Pie and Rarity got their perfect companions as well.

Trixie has been living in Ponyville for a good time since the defeat of her insane sister Checker Monarch. Life is going well for the blue mare. She's the mane cast's friend, she has a pet of her own, and she even has a house...sort of.

But when the Princess and some Delegates from Saddle Arabia are set to come to Ponyville with a show, things get a bit complicated...

This story was written with my friend, Godzillawolf. After stumbling upon a homeless Trixie, Twilight tries to help her get a new job in Ponyville. However, an unexpected visitor to the town wants to leave Trixie homeless and feeding off scraps. Checker Monarch is set on ruining everything Trixie does, for reasons not yet explained. Trixie must discover new friends and must face this old danger through new eyes.

Trixie appears once more in Ponyville, but something is...off...about her. She isn't speaking in third person. She is convinced that she is supposed to be the Element of Magic, that Celestia is supposed to be the Tyrant Sun, that Luna is supposed to rule as Equestria's monarch - and that Twilight is supposed to be a wanted criminal. Has she gone insane? Or is something bigger beginning - with consequences that Trixie, Twilight, and two entire worlds, can only guess at?

The long-awaited Crisis on Two Equestrias begins at last!

A Twilight Sparkle / Trixie story, originally published in April of 2011. It is presented here untouched, without being updated to match canon.

Twilight loses her magical powers due to a reason unknown to her. She soon begins to question what she should do for the remainder of her life. Meanwhile, Trixie hears of this news, and with the intention on getting revenge on Twilight, decides to pay the librarian a visit. However, when the showpony arrives, she begins to feel differently about her 'rival'.
