Trixie Lulamoon is the powerful, loyal, intelligent, (and don't forget humble) student of Princess Celestia! But after her ego gets the better of her one too many times, the princess has had it! She decides to send Trixie on a quest to defeat Nightmare Moon, and not come back until her mission is complete! The only problem? Nightmare Moon hasn't been seen in over 2,000 years! Follow Trixie as she travels the world, where laughs, adventure, and a pegasus always seem to follow her.

(This is inspired by a totally hype idea I got when I was watching Slayers, which is a funny anime BTW)

In a very different Equestria, Twilight Sparkle and Trixie Lulamoon are the magically conceived daughters of Celestia and Luna. The sisters have raised them to someday take their place, but left it up to them who would be the new princess of the sun and moon. On the day of coronation, both Trixie and Twilight say they wish to follow in Celestia's footsteps and one day raise the sun. Thus beginning an amusing rivalry between the two for the spot, while the royal guards grab the popcorn.

Maybe...neither of them should take the throne.

(This story takes place in a world where Luna never became Nightmare Moon, therefore there is no Summer Sun Celebration, therefore Twilight has not met her friends in the same way as in the show. But, she will still meet them. And so will Trixie.)

***This story is going to be completely re-done. I had this idea for the plot, but I wrote it too quickly. So I will be taking these chapters down and re-doing them. Upon writing the next chapter and re-reading what I had written, I noticed a lot of plot holes and most of what I had written was contrived. I PROMISE I CAN DO BETER! My original plot idea is really good! (Or at least I thought so.) But, getting started and building up to it is the hard part. Let me fix it! As soon as the last two chapters of my other story, Everypony LOVES Rainbow are posted, I'll get right to work on this one. Also, just as a side note, the humor in both of my comedy stories is very dry. A lot of people have a hard time understanding sarcasm and dry humor, especially in written form. I'm partial to this form of humor as my family is from England, so I grew up watching a lot of English comedies, and they are quite partial to that type of humor. So, I'll stop rambling now, read Everypony LOVES Rainbow, if you haven't already, (if you aren't offended by a story that is essentially about a rape victim falling in love.) and be prepared for the NEW and IMPROVED version of Simply Said...Coming soon!!***

When the three new students arrived and proposed the Battle Of The Bands, they attracted suspicion from Sunset and her friends, but they were prepared to deal with that. What they didn't expect was that their song affected another student more deeply than they could have forseen, and now she's found them. As magical battle erupts around her, Trixie just wants to know if she's rooting for the right side.

And Adagio Dazzle is all too willing to give her the answer she wants to hear...

On one afternoon, Vinyl's old friend drops in on her pleasant, married life with Octavia. She comes baring a deal that makes the DJ absolutely exited, a chance to star in her new show on Bridleway. There's just one little catch. She wants Vinyl to really live in her role for a while. Body switching madness ensues.

(This is my first attempt at writing a fan-fic for a while, and it's inconveniently in the middle of my college life, so critiques are understood and appreciated.)

Twilight and Trixie raise their new foal. A rambunctious unicorn colt, whom they named Starswirl after the historical unicorn wizard. And like the mage with whom he shares his namesake, young Starswirl Sparkle seems to be destined for greatness.

CANCELLED STATUS: A lot has changed in the show since I started writing this. Trixie's return, Starlight, and Canon Starswirl that I just couldn't find a way to write around. Sorry about that.

Authors note: The story will be more of the interaction between Shining Armour and Flash Sentry and the bromance that doesn't blossom. I wrote this story solely because I really liked the idea of military ponies but didn't want to make an OC.

Flash sentry was a Pegasus royal guard with a lot going for him. He was working his way up the ranks as a prominent soldier, and was the rising star amongst his peers. After a mistake in battle causes Flash to question his abilities as a soldier, Captain Shining Armour reassigns him to castle guard duty in Canterlot.
During the captain’s royal wedding, Flash catches a glimpse of a purple unicorn mare. Months later, fate steps in and he meets her properly for the first time. When they start dating, it seems he had finally made a right decision… until Flash finds out who her older brother is.
