No matter how rainbow colored and pretty they are. Now he has found himself in a strange new body in a strange new land and with a strange new little sister.

Twilight Sparkle gets the chance of researching and questioning the first live specimen of a changeling since the Canterlot invasion three years ago.
Twilight goes in with a scientific mind and wants to figure out everything about these evil bugs, as clearly they have shown themselves to be nothing but cruel in the past. However, in an attempt to find a cruel primitive being, she instead finds something she did not expect.

This story is something I made out of a combination of my own headcanon for changelings, and with my frustration, yet love, for philosophy, which I study at writing moment at university. This story will have slow updates, but I will work on it. This is as much a work for me, as it is for you.

After a vigorous day of organising and sending reports to Celestia, Twilight notices Spike is feeling a little ill. He slowly grows more and more cold, before finally falling into a coma that Twilight fears is her own fault.

Going to the Princesses for help, Twilight eventually is brought before an Elder Dragon and comes to the realisation that she may have failed as a caretaker, a friend and as an older sister.

When one allows their ambition to get out of control, it can be very difficult to stem it. That is, unless they have a friend who knows very well the dangers of succumbing to greed and desire.

Day after day Spike helps Rarity with her work, and it always ends with him coming home dead tired and worn out. Worried about the consequences that this could have on him on the long run, Twilight confronts Spike on the matter.
