Big Macintosh Apple is not a pony to mess with; an unwavering crimson juggernaut that can snap trees like tinder and rip homes from their foundations. Many ponies owe their lives to him, and more than a few denizens of the Everfree Forrest have found out the hard way that anything under his protection is strictly off limits.
But there is one race that has yet to learn this lesson, and is in fact incapable of it: the Zerg, a monstrous horde from far beyond the touch of Celestia’s sun, shaped by malice and warfare into perfect killing machines. That Equestria is safe from their reach is no small blessing, but every barrier has its cracks, and Big Macintosh is about to learn that even the smallest part of the Swarm is a force to be reckoned with.

Who said it came out of the claws? Maybe it was from those big spikes that got lodged in Mac's shoulders? Those sometimes kinda look like a scorpion's stinger.

Dat ending. The one thing that nags me with oneshots is that you want to feel that the story can continue, but it'd be over too quick. So, in a word, fantastic. The fight scene was done very well, (I can't write hand-to-hand avtion) and I'd like to see more of your works.

One more thing; I think you should label this story complete if you're done with it...

I didn't read the story, at least not yet but just seeing that bloody picture has made me reinstall the fucking game again. I mean the last time I played I said never again but bloody hell if you haven't made me nostalgic enough to play it again.

When you think about it, a poison or some kind of sedative to act like a poison, or vice-versa would actually make alot of sense biology-wise.

I personally liked all of this, especially the last part when Kerrigan looked back at them. The zergling was indeed a badass, seems to me it was more of a Devouring One, but idk, i particularily licked how Big Mac sensed the area in the ground, a place i think Earth Ponies would normally have some kind of sixth sense.
