Now that finals are done, I'll be able to produce a lot more chapters. Hopefully one every couple of days. The Spectral Fire is very explicit; Ch4 is much less so [but with a couple sexy moments XD].

This is not a Clopfic. However, there are sexual moments (as in any romance) and very very minor language.

There may be more explicit chapters depending on if it would make it better.

This is a light/subtle parody; I guess the title didn't make that as clear as I thought? Still, it's not entirely silly, and it's getting a little more serious as a result of the positive response.

Every Fifty years a special reunion is held by the many creatures of Equestria and its neighboring nations to maintain the peace that they have known for so long. This year much has changed. Equestria is on the brink of war and only one Princess has what it takes to prevent it. Rainbow Dash, daughter of Celestia and Heir to the throne. Bonds of friendship will be tested and some friendships will become more, while others are torn apart at the seams.

(After thinking over all the hate-mail i received on this story and everything the fans of this have told me, I've changed the story a bit. I feel I was a bit too harsh on Gilda. I've added in the missing scenes that were removed before due to fear of what people would think, and I've changed a few more things that were bugging me when i first wrote it.)

Partially inspired by Sun and Stars Please go read it, the story is awesome and the writer is even more awesome.

Equestria is at war. Industry has begun to engulf the nations around it, and soon, the industrious Steampunk nation to the East of Equestria has begun to run raids on its coast. Princess Celestia then calls all the best Pegasi to join the most elite Airborne Division to help fight it off and ultimately win the war. There, a stallion Pegasus named Dusk meets Rainbow Dash and the two have brief contact before they are sent into the field. What follows after their tour is finished is completely up to fate, their decisions and what they remember. Because life is just a combination of choices and memories, right? I mean, what cliche story isn't about two lovers who meet in the middle of war, right?

The war against the Horde took its toll,

The Princess needed magical gems for her army,

Was forced to work the gem mines on the captured Zebra Island of Korinis.

When filly Twilight asks Celestia to tell her a bedtime story, the Princess is not prepared for the many memories that float to the surface once she is asked this. She mainly remembers a small filly just like Twilight, who also asked for bedtime stories many years ago.

Rainbow Dash's dreams come true, and fame begins to change her in more ways than she could imagine.
