When an object of unknown origin crashes outside of Ponyville, Twilight and a group of scientists must investigate and deal with the realization that they're not alone in the universe. Who built it and what were they like? What happened to the object's lone occupant? How will Equestria and the world at large react to the fact there there is a civilization out there well beyond their comprehension?

This story takes place in the universe of the Orion's Arm Worldbuilding Project, basic knowledge about that world is preferred but not required for enjoyment of the story.

After a high-energy experiment is conducted in the vicinity of a passenger jet, the flight crew of Gulf Air 1-2 Lima battle to keep the crippled aircraft airborne. When the unthinkable happens and the crew must keep over fifty survivors alive in harsh conditions, will they be stranded alone or is something more sinister afoot?

Unable to tell reality apart from his imagination, John's world is falling through the cracks. He can't tell if this place is real or is just his mind's conjuration of a world where he can escape his own. Cortana told him he was home. Is this what she meant, or is he just unable to open his eyes and accept what happened?

But Yamato's return has stirred up the ocean floor, and creatures never before seen rise from the Abyss to claim the oceans as theirs.

I am a United States Air Force fighter pilot. I'm supposed to be a fearless, balls to the wall man of unfathomable feats. But somehow, I was taken from my world during a simple, routine flight. Now that I'm stuck here, part of me wishes I could have done things differently... The other part wants to stay here in this peaceful land, surrounded by serenity.
