Twilight loved visiting Canterlot castle's royal library. The library received new books often, making every visit like a new adventure in her literary mind. She was almost jumping with joy when she saw the tall book cases containing the latest information written from many of the highly intellectual individuals in Equestria. In a matter of minutes, she had a cart full of books that sparked her never-ending interest. Turning the corner to the next shelf, she froze.

Standing in front of the shelf was a tall creature with piercing blue eyes, battle-aged gold armor, and a large, worn out halberd leaning against the shelf. It was reading a book intently. The creature sensed the frozen pony's presence, and turned its head. Its eyes locked on to Twilight's.

"Hello. How do you do?"

I'll never forget that day. The day I forever changed a friend of mine. Fluttershy.....I'll be willing to share with you the odd things I've noticed about her since the incident at Sweet Apple Acres. Octavia has always been obsessed with the occult, specifically vampires. She dreams of being a creature of the night, soaring through the air, sucking the blood from her victims.That's all it ever was though, a dream.
Or at least it was until she met Vinyl Scratch. Now Octavia is the servant of the all powerful vampire. In return for services rendered, Vinyl will make Octavia's dream into a reality.

A reality Vinyl wants no part of, but she does have to admit, Octavia has her uses.

Frothy Brew is the barista in the Canterlot café owned by himself, his wife, and his daughter. Years of hard work had made the café a successful and modestly popular place to stop and get a drink or a snack. Nothing prepared him though for it to become a hub of interaction with the undisguised changelings that were being seen more often in the streets of Canterlot. Can he put aside his feelings for the species though after witnessing the most horrifying aspect of the invasion years ago?

This story runs concurrently with the latter part of my Change of Life story. While reading that and Prelude To Change is not necessary, they do give valuable background that is glossed over in "Conversations". Cover art and story illustrations are all done by Foxenawolf.

So what happens when a human is found that is not only smart, but a highly trained martial artist?

For this young man, being sent to a new world with nothing but his mind and fist, has went from sunshine and colorful ponies, to a battle for his life. Can he find out what to do before the overly cuddly ponies find him?

Spike has tried to become the perfect knight; unfortunately Rarity rejects him. His cries of anguish do not go unheard in the moonlit night. Luna comforts the ailing dragon however her hurting heart yearns too. Meanwhile Rarity realizes what she is missing and sets forth to undo her mistake. However, as Spike gets closer to the Night Princess intrigue is sure to follow.

Twilight Sparkle had thought that she'd cured Fluttershy of the bat influence, but it soon transpires that she was mistaken; now with their friend at risk of serious injury or death every night, Twilight and the others must do everything they can to keep her safe while they search for a more permanent solution.
