Twilight Sparkle is changing; she's not sure how, or why. All she does
know is that she has to reverse the change before she hurts somepony she
cares about. But she won't be alone, Spike will be by her side until the
end.

One cold autumn night, Twilight Sparkle lets in a pale and weary traveler into her home. When she accidentally discovers his dark secret, she is assaulted by him, and is left to die... When she woke up, she finds that she has been turned into a Vampire, an ancient enemy of Equestria last seen during Nightmare Moon's Rebellion. She now walks the thin line between life and death, sustained only by the blood of others.

Her friends now race against time to find a cure for this ancient curse, and stop the Vampire who infected Twilight, before he can create a new army of Vampires to conquer Equestria. Otherwise, Twilight will join the forces of evil and darkness, as the Bride for the Lord of Vampires. They have to work quickly, as every day passes, Twilight's thirst for her friends' blood increases...

Twilight Sparkle: magician, scholar, bearer of the element Magic, and most of all, friend.
A bat, a book, and a bite can change so much of that, and bring darkness to her heart.
Can you keep your friendships when you might hurt those around you?
If you want to hurt them?
Bloodlust can bring an end.

After failing to stop Nightmare Moon in the ancient castle of the pony sisters, Twilight Sparkle is left with a scar that will permanently change the rest of her natural born life. As Twilight recovers from her ordeal, she finds that she is left with a difficult choice. Either live her life as a lie or sacrifice her innocence to protect the ones she loves. The path before her is set and she must now walk it alone. The sands of time continues ever onward, with everyone already trapped in its muddy depths. The sun will rise and the sun will fall. Waiting for its call, Death awaits for all.

I just put the two together

The Canterlot Caverns are a strange and enigmatic place, untouched and forgotten by pony-kind for centuries. So when a strange metal object is unearthed in their depths, it's up to Twilight Sparkle and Lyra Heartstrings to discover the many secrets it holds.

Together, the two of them will have to do their best to understand the remnants of an ancient civilization, and decipher what remains of Those Who Came Before.

As it turns out, this story is eerily similar to Lyra Heartstrings and the Hand of Man. Due to their similarity, I feel that it would be appropriate to give said story a mention.

The Doctor has spent his entire life running, and when his life comes close to an end, something happens that allows him to avoid running from Death itself. Thrown into an alternate universe, The Doctor has learned to exceed his regeneration limit and continue as many times as needed. His journeys are just beginning as some old 'friends' are thrown into the alternate universe along with him.

It's not quite as easy for Fluttershy as it used to be, being the only animal caretaker in Ponyville. She still tries to make time to visit her friends and go into town to talk to everypony, but it just seems like she just doesn't see them as much as she used to. Maybe only once a month if not less than that. Her friends are still there for her and care for her even with her unusual new appetite. Yes indeed, things have been going a little glum for the formerly-living Element of Kindness. Fortunately, since she has the love of your friends and the magic of their Friendship, nothing could make her truly unhappy, even if she is a Zombie. (Warning: Set Phasers to D'aww)

After the War of the Ring and the return of peace to Middle-earth, Gandalf the White departs for Equestria to visit two old friends of his; specifically, a certain pair of alicorn sisters.

Yet he does not foresee that Equestria, like ponykind, has changed with the years since his previous visit, and so he is quite unprepared for what lies ahead. Can the Wizard endure the trials that this new journey will bring? Surely, but only if he makes a few more friends along the way.

Six more, to be exact.

Doctor Whooves is a mysterious stallion, nopony knew where he came from, or understands half of what he says.
Whilst trying to repair the TARDIS to take him back home, he might just discover a reason to stay.
