After being reformed by the Mane Six, Discord is having a difficult time adjusting to his new lifestyle, due in no small part to that fact that Princess Celestia still doesn't seem to trust him. Luna, who is able to relate personally to Discord's internal struggle, allows him to travel abroad in an attempt to make amends, asking, in return, that he keep her updated on his discoveries concerning friendship. Post-Reformation Discord, rated T for the possibility of some light sauciness in later chapters. Also, a bit of shipping between several background characters, such as Lyra and Bon Bon.

Her relationships frayed, and her future causing her anxiety, Applejack heads down to the river with many of the earth ponies in town to see her aunt, an itinerant clergymare of Gaia. Accompanying her is her friend Twilight and a host of regrets.

(Though you don't need to know this to read the story, this is part of the Splinter Songverse, a re-imagining of what might have happened if Rainbow had died in "Where the Sun is Silent" which you can find on EQD. Trixie, upon hearing about Twilight's passion for books, hatches a plan to get the lovestruck mare to fall for her. Shenanigans and absurdity ensue.
