Inspired by KnightMysterio's take on the Nightmare-Timeline in the story Context

The Princess of the Sun has fallen, the Queen of the Night now takes her place.

To the surprise of many, Nightmare Moon isn't evil. Or insane for that matter. She is attempting to be a queen that can properly rule a nation she has not seen in a thousand years. Some will try to aide her, others will attempt to thwart her, but the Wrath of the Night is something not to take lightly.

However, Celestia may have made a mistake in letting Luna fade from history and the only mention of Nightmare Moon become a demonized fable- no one would take that very well in her place.

Features: Twilight reluctantly helping a Sane and Noble NMM, curious and confused guards, and ponies being reminded of their lost history.

Twilight Sparkle is good at finding books even in unexpected places.
She's also a very helpful and proactive young filly.

You'd think these would be good traits, and yet still she manages to nearly ruin Hearth's Warming with an interstellar war.

Some didn't shy away from even the most despicable of methods, changing a colt's life forever.

The very much unauthorized re-write of Jonny Bench's story called The Crippling Secret. I thought it would be fun to re-write it, but Jonny himself hasn't been on since half a year ago, so-

I did some reverse-image-searching, and I think the cover image comes from sjui00. Hopefully they don't mind my use.

Story was released 10/22/22, but I really, really rushed writing it. Usually, my stories take about five drafts before I'm happy with it. This one, I only did two then published it. On 10/24/22, I re-edited the story to flow better.

It's easy for a small pony to feel lonely in the vastness of the modern world, but what happens when that loneliness leads to complete abandonment? For one such mare faced with that reality, she must choose between a promise of hope and love, and the reality of despair.
