The reward of duty was never great for the Princess of the Night. When her efforts are continually unappreciated by her subjects, Luna is driven to seek solace alone in the Everfree Forest. There she meets a unique foal whom she takes under her wing as her protegee, despite the looming danger of her new student's inherited hatred of the Canterlot Royals that forces Luna to hide her true identity. How long can the Princess maintain the lie, and can the bond between them ever grow under its shadow?

She never saw herself as a caretaker, nor did she foresee gaining a sister, but after taking in a homeless filly, Rainbow Dash finds herself in a new role.

Playing the big sister for the only Cutie Mark Crusader without a family, Rainbow Dash finds she still has a thing or two to learn about sisterhood. After butting heads with Scootaloo one too many times, Rainbow Dash consults an expert on the subject.

To be an employee of Photo Finish is a great honor, but it can also be quite tiring at times... Most of the time, actually. Hairspray isn’t one to complain, and like all the others assistants of Equestria’s most famous photographer, she has learned to do her job, and do it well.

But today is one of those days when everything goes wrong, and Hairspray will have to deal with both Photo Finish' usual temper and the arrogance of another hairdresser who is decided to get the job for herself.

Remember Photo Finish’ assistants from the episode Green isn’t your Color? No? Well here’s a reminder of who they are since they’re the main characters of this one-shot:

-Hairspray: the pony seen taking care of Fluttershy’s mane – and the one from the story’s picture.
-Powder Rouge: the one going through the whole “too much blush, not enough blush” with Fluttershy.
-Pinny Cushion: the one with a violet mane seen working with Hairspray and Powder Rouge and taking care of Fluttershy’s dress.

Those background ponies seem to have been forgotten by bronies and pegasisters, but they deserve some attention too!

Twilight always thought that being able to send the Princess her letters instantaneously through Spike's fire breath was the best thing in the world. Instant correspondence with her mentor and secret crush could never be a bad thing, right? Unfortunately, Twilight has a habit of writing her secrets down on flammable materials. Now her secret's out, so what's a panicky unicorn to do? Panic, obviously!

There's only so much sadness, tragedy and trauma one pony can take. And every time, a little piece of the heart is torn, and can never be recovered. When people die, all their memories are lost. But what about the ones that never die?

Princess Celestia tires of constantly being surrounded by decorum, deference, and formality, and decides to take a day off from being Princess. But visiting Ponyville incognito is harder than she expects. Will she be able to fit in and make friends without blowing her cover?

Dinky is having a bad day. Mean fillies have started teasing her and telling lies about her family. She runs home in tears to find her mother still at work and her sister gone, but her grandmother is there, and soothes her tears and comforts her. Sometimes a good hug and a muffin can work wonders.
