After Twilight Sparkle discovers a new book of pick-up-lines, she wants to bring her friends closer by complimenting them with cheesy lines.

And it does more than bring them closer...

Spike decides to create a love potion to try and win over Rarity, but this decision soons come to haunt him when he accidentally gives it to Twilight. Creepy stalking ensues.

There was only one explanation. For all of it. All of the strange, erratic behavior. Her irrational fear of the sun. Her nocturnal habits of locking herself in in the dark and closing all the blinds. Wearing her sunglasses everywhere, even inside! It was time to invest in some silver, garlic, and a wooden stake.

Have you ever had a dream that just seemed so real, that it was impossible to say for certain that it was even a dream at all? A dream that, despite all of its impossibilities, seemed to re-write your entire perception of reality, re-writing your sense of what—and indeed, who—you are? Accepting change is hard enough as it is. But when you're a somebody who wakes up as a somepony, how do you cope with the impact such a drastic change has on your mind and body? With changes like these, it must surely just be a lucid dream—albeit a suspiciously accurate one—just brimming with potential and ripe for exploration. So you might as well suck it up and make the most of these distressingly…unusual circumstances, and seize this psychological adventure before you wake up and the dream ends.
After all, this couldn't possibly be real, so the dream must come to an end eventually…right?

Fluttershy gets invited to the biggest dance in all of Ponyville. Since she doesn't know many stallions in town, she invites Spike to go with her. However, the dance is known to be a very romantic event, leading everypony that finds out to mistakenly think she has feelings for Spike.

Soon, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, and Spike try to figure out why Fluttershy likes Spike, and it devolves into an argument on who should be "shipped" with which pony that makes sense, and soon it unravels a string of secret romances, weird secrets, and more in a parody of the world of shipping.

Minor characters will be added to the character list as new chapters go up.

Cheerilee wants to teach. Ditzy Doo wants her family to stop thinking she's crazy. Lyra just wants Cheerilee. During their first semester in college a sheltered rich girl, a budding engineer, and a street musician will each have to face the decisions that affects the rest of their lives. Twilight must hide her weakness from Disco, and when he discovers it, he accepts who she is.Meanwhile, Twilight's friends go in search of her... Unfortunately, Celestia is upset that they haven't destroyed each other yet, so she sets a great trial over Dizzy... he must take care of the mane 6, as foals... Celestia thinks that she has this in the bag, but... DOES SHE?
