Starlight Glimmer had oftentimes wondered whether she should even be alive, or if it would be kinder to the world and to herself to exterminate her existence. Now, she reflects on her feelings while she waits for the train.

Starlight has plans, too. However they are ones that only Trixie knows of and even The Great And Powerful illusionist isn't totally aware of what Starlight plans to do upon releasing Cozy Glow from Tartarus.

This is a fun story that explores a theory I came up with for how Cozy Glow came to be and why she is the way she is. Enjoy!

Every day for a year Starlight Glimmer has visited Cozy Glow in Tartarus in an attempt to get through to her, to try to understand why she did what she did. Every Day Cozy has refused help by telling more lies and fake stories about her past. But Starlight knows from experience that no one is beyond saving, so she decides to put everything on the line to help Cozy Glow, whether the stubborn filly wants it or not!

Pinkie Pie has been acting strange lately, even for her standards. Twilight grapples with her fears that Pinkie may be preparing to leave her, or is it something else entirely?

Starlight still isn't entirely sure she belongs in Ponyville after her whole change the past plan goes poorly. It takes a strong pony to realize that sometimes you can't help everypony and Twilight realizes this. She sends Starlight to a bar to meet a friend and hopes she didn't make a mistake sending her student to the most bitter pony she knows.

Pinkie's parents are missing, presumed dead.

Applejack is there to pick up the pieces.
