This is happening WAY too fast for my liking, considering Cozy's psychopathic state of mind. I especially think Cozy's hug with Starlight was a bit overdone in the first chapter. But I'll keep on tracking it for now...

Several good episodes in the back half of the season. Like The End in Friendship (Rarity and Rainbow Dash episode) the road to Friendship( Starlight and Trixie) The hearth warming Club. What lies beneath. The friendship university (STARSWIRL APPEARS!) a Rockhoof and a hard place ( THE PILLARS OF EQUESTRIA!)

There are really good ones. I think the writers are trying to get the fans back now so they can put hasbro on the spot because I think they realize that if G4 does get a season 10 it will enter the third place of the longest series by hasbro and it would put the show among the ranks of Transformers and Pound Puppies.
They have to deliver an epic Equestria Girls that has to rival Rainbow Rocks for the Equestria Girls the Other side, and has to top season 4 with season 9 if they can get the ratings back up and bring other reactors back there is a chance that G5 will get postponed for season 10. But the writers can’t do it alone. We have to watch it. Because they will always go for the money first.

And that's fair. You can view the character however you want. But the fact remains she's still just a child and there's a chance she could learn to learn from her mistakes in the future. Remember Discord didn't get redeemed the first time around either. Chrysalis is still a villian. But just because some are slow learners doesn't mean they can't change Cozy and Chrysalis could both see the light someday.

Although, realistically Cozy, of course, wouldn't say something like that, she'd just have manipulated that Starlight into busting her out after one week. (unless Starlight is playing her role in some deeper princesses' plan).

Outside of a nightmare scene, No, this is about reforming Cozy. I have no doubt he'll stay connected to her story in the actual show, but I wanted to focus on Cozy in this. Starlight will be back soon and Twilight & Trixie will come in play over time, but no big Tirek role for this fic. Sorry
Yeah taking Starlight away from Cozy was definitely the worst decision Celestia could have made. It’s obvious that Cozy has formed a connection with Starlight and that connection is vital to helping Cozy and preventing her from having any sort of contact with Starlight will just be a setback in reforming her.

Oddly enough the orphanage got shut down shortly after Cozy left. The Department of Pony Services received an odd unmarked letter about how it wasn't up to code. I wonder where that came from?
Oh well I hear most of the other foals got adopted and the Matron works as a Janitor at a Hay Burger now.
