Lyra is a very silly pony with equally silly friends and their lives are anything but normal.

When one of Equestria's most popular cellists appears at Twilight's birthday party, it's just another gig for Octavia, but a shock for Twilight and the rest of the party-goers. This story picks up on Caramel as he is contemplating his life in the Royal Guards. He is no longer sure why he joined up in the first place, and it doesn't help when the object of his unspoken affection comes to visit.

Due to her reckless antics and tomboyish behavior, Rainbow Dash has generally been thought of as one that had no real interest in the matters of love and dating. However, she gets challenged by Spike one day when he tells his friends that he would never be able to fall in love with her. Given Rainbow's competitive nature, a new challenge between the two of them begins.

The Great Equestrian Foam Sword Fight is a fabled event that happens once every fifty years. To win the event, one must incapacitate another pony using the most dangerous weapon known to pony-kind.

The winner of the event is also said to win untold riches that nopony knows about. With everypony trying to win those riches, the strongest bonds will shatter, the dirtiest of tricks will be played and all bets are off. After all, there can only be one winner.

It is also one of the few times were a pony can legally knock out another pony using a piece of foam.

Owned by Octavia Philharmonica and Vinyl Scratch, Club Harmony has become famous for its mixture of classical music and modern rock, bringing ponies from all over the land to experience the lights and sounds (and to get wasted at the same time).
