When Twilight is sucked into the illusion of the dark magic door in the Crystal Palace for a few seconds longer than canon, it leaves a lasting effect on her. The ripple effects of this causes her to seek out dangerous magic and put an end to anything that could be abused by the wrong hooves, not realising she herself is falling to the effects of dark magic.

It can be taken for granted that being a Wonderbolt is crazy tough work. Coming home from wing-breaking work and having to deal with an excessively snarky fancolt certainly doesn't help matters.

Then again, there are circumstances that make staying at home all day an even more arduous task. Depending on who you're asking, Quibble Pants might have one of them.

Dialogue-only story. As far as i can tell, this isn't forbidden by FimFic rules, and I wanted to try something (slightly) different.

This story is a sequel to Broken Armor

Shining Armor has done many actions that, when he became a leader, thought he'd never do or have to do. Not only has he betrayed his kingdom and left it's citizens without leadership, but, worst of all, he has betrayed his wife and his sister. What spell has Queen Chrysalis cast upon him to make him do such drastic actions?

Rocky Diamond, Lance Force, and Blooming Lily has escaped from the Changeling Kingdom. But now they face more dangers including the harsh elements, themselves, and much more.

Twilight Sparkle's only brother has been taken from her along with Princess Cadance. Now, she must work quickly to find a counter-spell to stop the transformation spell cast upon Shining Armor before it's too late.

NOTICE: For anyone who happens to come upon this story before reading, "Broken Armor", I would highly recommend reading this stories predecessor, as I mentioned before, "Broken Armor".

This story was a challenge I received. The pairing seems odd but I'm willing to try this out. First real romance fic. Not sure how often this will update, but I'm going to give it my best shot.

Shining Armor has been injured in a recent attack upon the Crystal Empire from Queen Chrysalis. Due to an injury he sustained to his horn whilst fighting her, he is unable to create any spells, even the simplest ones. Because of this, he feels that he is inadequate and undeserving of everything he has gotten in life. Is he correct, or is he being a bit too difficult with himself?
Princess Cadance would say otherwise.

One dirty white horse, on a errand of penance and mercy, gleams past the street-trotters at the witching hour. Following the blighted dirt of her shortened path, she commits herself to one final act of redemption, for good or for ill.

The lyrics of the song in this story are intentionally different from the song upon which it is based.)

Twilight Sparkle was presumed to be dead. Destroyed without even a body to bury, the young victim of a deadly magical surge that claimed the lives of many others along side her. More than a decade later, reports of a violent murder by a pony bearing her name are brought to Celestia and Luna's attention. A trail of carnage leading directly towards Canterlot's doorstep, brought by a pony who strikes without mercy. As Twilight approaches, in service to an unknown master, the Alicorn Sisters desperately try to uncover what happened all those years ago.
