Twilight has something she needs to tell Princess Celestia--something that means a chance at getting everything she's ever wanted, or of losing everything she's ever had.

Something so terrifying that the only way she could say it was in a letter...and so wonderful that she had the courage to send it.

When Canterlot has to be evacuated for a week Twilight offers her parents a place to stay.
Trouble is, while Twilight is a grown up, independent pony who has saved the world (At least three times) Her parents still treat her like she's a filly.
Her father is going through a mid-life crisis.
And her mother is trying to set her up with every single stallion in Equestria.

This is going to be a LONG week.

My life was simple. I used to be a cellist, of Canterlot's pride and nobility, and a very happy pony with where I was. I should say I landed myself here; it was nopony's fault I agreed with Vinyl on this ludicrous idea. I will, however, blame Vinyl for the guards outside. And for my doctor. And for Princess Luna.

That's all on her.

So, in the off chance that we don't get out of this room in (literally) one piece, my name is Octavia, beginning log: one.

After having a particular stressful event happen in her Court, Princess Luna decides to take a night off from her usual duties and try to ease some of the stirring feelings. Will a evening filled with music, star-gazing, and introspection help or will it only cause her to spiral out of control?

The business of government never stops, and paperwork never rests, even on Hearthwarming. But this particular Hearthwarming, Cabinet Secretary and tea enthusiast Dotted Line plans to do his level best to see it, at least, take a break. His ponies need to go home to their families, and he, well, he has plans this Hearthwarming.

Sometimes you don't need a sparring partner for your rapier wit; sometimes, you just need a shoulder strong enough to support you.

Fortunately, Octavia can do both.

Luna's disposition worsens after Twilight Sparkle once again outdoes the Princess by fighting back another evil foe. Princess Luna wishes to speak with somepony, and finds that a therapist is her only possible choice.

After the changelings' failed invasion of Canterlot, Twilight tries to soothe some of Ponyville's rampant paranoia by casting a spell to prove there are no imposters hiding in the town. But her spell leaves her in an alien body, facing a mob of angry ponies who just don't believe her when she says she is Twilight Sparkle.

Or, at least, she was Twilight Sparkle, anyway...
