Let's talk a little about apocalypse ideation.

Have you ever wanted the world to end?

Imagine if everything that was wrong with your life - every entrenched system of messed-up people and processes - was wiped away in an instant, replaced with the kind of problems you can just put a bullet in. Wouldn't it be nice, to know for certain that your actions matter? To walk in the middle of the road, without looking both ways?

That's the great lie of post-apocalyptic stories: that life gets easier.

Imagine if everything that was wrong with your life was suddenly replaced with the kind of problems you can make friends with. Wouldn't it be nice, to know for certain that you are the best at something in the whole wide world? To be adrift, in a sea of pastel?

The very idea that Fallout and My Little Pony could be in any way connected is inherently absurd. And yet, to a certain kind of person, they tell the same lie.

Whitefang has spent most of his life alone, isolating himself from others. But, this all changes when he meets a technologically adept Pony named ChipSet. The two of them share a strained relationship, but they're gonna need to get along in order to survive the perilous world they are trapped in.

Set in Kkat's Fallout: Equestria.

Crossword is a Steel Ranger in training. Being born into the Far South Contingent as an initiate, she had only one goal in her life: To don the uniform of the Steel Ranger's and bring order the Wastelands of the Far South and beyond.
However she lacks many of the practical skills needed for a ranger, being better suited as a scribe. She needs the adventure, and the only way to prove herself is to be brave.
Little does she know that the honourable Steel Rangers of the Far South Contingent that she had learned about in books and training, are only a fraction of the actual truth.

What will she discover, what will she become and will she follow her heart?

Expect the same sort of level of gore in the original Fallout: Equestria story, but dulled down to teen level, if there is a demand for more detail, let me know in the comments

Also go easy on the criticism, I really appreciate those who correct grammar and spelling and missing ponyisms, but don’t be too harsh, I'm open to suggestions always

No more than five years after the Royal Wedding, the megaspells fell all over the globe, thus ending civilization as it was known. However, ponies and other species which dwelled in equestria survived in the stables scattered around the land. Other species managed to survive, either through radiation spells, private bunkers, or by surviving massive doses of radiation. That and by hiding, deep beneath the changeling hive, where the entire changeling race fell into hibernation. Now, a century later, the hive is found, and what awakens in its depths, is hungry, deadly, and on a time limit. Queen Chrysalis must set out in her weakened state to find a source of love, or her children will die, and shortly after, she will follow suit.

Inspired by the heroics of the mysterious mare known as the Stable Dweller, Silver Storm, a guard of the town of Marefort, decides to go on a daring mission to rescue her captured brother. Of course things rarely go as planned and her attempts at heroism drags her into a tangled web of plots and conspiracies as warring factions vie for control over the last great city: Dise.

The Lake Shore division of the Canterlot & North Western cuts through the fertile farmlands and lush green pastures of the Great Plains. Dotted with beautiful lakes, the rolling landscape would seem to be an ideal country in which to railroad. The seasons were so definite that one never tired of the changing scenery; and yet the winters were so severe that only the stoutest could endure their hardships. This vigorous and interesting railroad is the background for this story, which witnesses steam at the height of its glory and sees the coming of the Diesel.

This story is based on my grandfather's experiences working for the Chicago & North Western Railroad out of Neenah (pronounced knee-nah), Wisconsin, so the scenery is based on my home state. I hope others from Wisconsin who read this will recognize the locations, even though some will have different names.
