Twilight left Equestria ashamed of calling Cadence evil without knowing she was replaced by Queen Chrysalis. The real Cadence was accidentally found and the Changeling invasion was foiled.

Since then Princess Celestia and her friends have been searching for Twilight.

2 years later the Crystal Empire returns and Twilight's friends are sent but it seemed that an armada led by the stern faced Tempest got there first. She is there on behalf of a new empire ruled by Queen Twilight.

Former King of the Crystal Empire Sombra wakes up in a cell with the given decision between reformation or a lifetime in prison. He accepts with some caution and after some details are sorted out, he is moved to the castle of Princess Twilight Sparkle under reformation.
With all the craziness about the arrival of an evil slave king going through the humble town of Ponyville, Sombra is left wondering what he got himself into.
Can two ponies who hate each other with all their guts become friends and prove that old habits can be changed? It depends on how you define 'hate'...

Twilight Sparkle is pregnant and Big Macintosh is the father. Aid comes from the most surprising places as their situation becomes public. Secrets and long-buried tensions are exposed as the pair deal with a changing dynamic and learn what is most important in their lives.

Consequences, they come in all shapes and sizes for every decision. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. These words are lessons that Princess Celestia should know, bits of wisdom she practices in her rule of Equestria. How is it then, that when faced with a decision, she chooses the one that would inevitably bring the most pain? How is it that she couldn’t bear being recognized as the mother of her child? And why? Twilight has been using her discovery with the Want It, Need It spell to satisfy her urges ever since and decides it is the best way to deal with her heat this season, so she doesn't have to suffer through it, nor look for a stallion to help her, while making sure said stallion doesn't knock her up, the latter of which she won't do due to being a fillyfooler.

However, she is so intent to rid herself of her heat, she forgets one crucial detail whilst having her futanari clones help her through it. Mares can get pregnant when in heat if somepony releases inside their womb, a fact she learns all too well. Her only comfort is confining in Cadance, the only pony who knew Twilight was having orgies with her own clones.

Now, pregnant with her own child, Twilight must figure out how to explain to her friends, her parents, Celestia and, worst of all, her brother, that she got herself pregnant... with herself.

Along with dealing with the difficulties pregnancy brings on its own, Twilight will have to deal with how the rest of Equestria will react to the idea that she sired her own child.

Luckily for her, there is another pony coming to grips with the idea of sudden motherhood; somepony Twilight is very surprised to meet again.

Note: When it says she gets herself with herself, it means one of her clones got her pregnant, not that she's pregnant with another her.

TittySparkles story just opened this thought in my mind the moment i read it, though i kept in inside until now.

Sunset knew something was wrong when she woke up in Twilight’s castle since she had no recollection how she even got there. She soon discovered that Twilight was missing and nobody seemed to remember who Twilight was. But that was the least of her worries when she found out she has become an alicorn princess and may have taken over Twilight's life. With no clue as to where Twilight was or why they had switched roles, Sunset was determined to find Twilight. With the help of Spike and Twilight’s friends, Sunset set out to find her presumed missing friend.
