All I can say with any amount of certainty is that time for the rest of the world resets every night, and every morning I wake up it is the morning of the 23^rd.

Chrysalis had come a long way from absolutely nothing - a humbled bug-horse left to fend for herself in the howling wilderness. But she's not the pony changeling she used to be, and she's set her hoof upon the path of conquest, for herself, for her crown, and for her children minions.

All she had to do was seize the commanding heights of the pony principalities, and feed her brood upon that endless supply of pony happiness which was her birthright, by all that was villainous!

If only her mother didn't keep tripping her up.

When Starlight Glimmer cast her spell and shattered the bonds connecting the Elements of Harmony, she inadvertently created a cosmic crack that would have further reaching consequences than she could ever imagine. The consequences of her actions rippled across time and space, shattering the very destiny of existence itself. The only thin string holding the universe together now is Twilight Sparkle, the representative of the Element of Magic and the Princess of Friendship. But with destiny already defied, how can she hope to pick up the pieces of a broken reality?

For Rarity, waking up with split ends is the absolute worst thing ever. Unfortunately, a mysterious stallion proves otherwise when he warns her that Armageddon is approaching and Equestria is doomed, and if that happens, she can kiss her well-coiffed mane farewell. Now the timeline is splitting worse than Rarity's hair as our intrepid heroine travels back again...

and again...

and again in order to save the world, with perhaps a smidgen of help from Princess Luna. And if she happens to find the time for a trip to the spa along the way, well... A mare can't be blamed for wanting to look her best, can she?

Like hay that's right! It was a minor miracle that the girls talked her into taking a nap during the train ride, and now she's saying she has everything under control?! Spike knew how good naps were - they refresh you in body and spirit, help memory retention, and aid digestion! But something happened to Twilight, and now she acts like she knows everything that's going to happen before it does!

Wait a second, what do you mean 'accidentally broke the fabric of space-time'!?

This is the story of what would happen if the loops did not truly loop.

I am Princess Luna, I am reapeating my life in a way that many modern ponies call a 'Time loop'. My power extends to the power of prophecy and time magic and while this has aided me for many years I cannot break this cruel cycle of failure and rebirth.

My sister and I save the land from the tyranny of Discord, only to succumb to him a thousand years later, and if not him, then to the myriad of creatures we had thought banished or defeated a millinea prior.

Celestia and I are the only ones that can weild the Elements of Harmony, only we can defend Equestria.

And yet we fail...

Did you truly think it was mere jealousy that drove me to become Nightmare Moon?

Did you find it strange that the elements of harmony would find new bearers when several divine creatures would escape their confines in only a few short years?

I have quite a lot of time on my hooves you see, I may as well make use of it.

Princess Luna is in a time loop, it is a fact of nature. She can not escape it any more than a mayfly can cheat death. This is what transpires as a result. Witness a thousand years of Equestrian history, of Discord's first defeat right up to a Princess of the night trying to find the right way to save the world countless times over.
