After a pretty animated night, Starlight wakes up and discovers Trixie by her side. It probably was a good night, but it could have been a way better morning.

This story is a sequel to Closing Time

Since Trixie presented Starlight with a necklace and the two went out, they became closer and closer as each day passed, soon venturing into a happy, healthy relationship. Now, with tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala, Starlight is excited to take her marefriend along and have a romantic night together.

However, midway through the Gala, a rumor spreads that Trixie has went up to Prince Blueblood's bedroom and is having an affair with him.

Starlight Glimmer, former dictator turned guidance counsellor, is given an anonymous note, seeking help and advice. As she asks her friend Rarity for advice, her day is set to take an unexpected turn.

And as the weeks and months role by, Starlight learns something important about each of her closest friends - something which will continue to help and provide comfort for her in her darkest days.

There are some days Starlight Glimmer knows she made a mistake.

It's been a few days since Trixie and Starlight made things right with Twilight and the three became friends, and it's been eating up Trixie to know just exactly what Twilight thinks of her now. So, as two unicorns break into Canterlot Castle at the behest of her new bestie Trixie, Starlight realizes today is going to be one of those days with plenty of regrets.

A mean thunderstorm hits Ponyville... and The Great and Powerful Trixie is definitely NOT afraid of storms.

After a long-due day off, Starlight gets to join Trixie on a best friends day out. Unfortunately Trixie's sour mood causes Starlight to worry, and a chain of events unexpectedly pulls them closer. Starlight plays good friend(tm) but begins to realize there may be something else she's feeling.

Starlight has invited Trixie over to her room to show her something. Something that she hasn't shown any pony in a long time. This prompts Trixie to ask a question that's always been on her mind. Why did Starlight go so far for Sunburst? Why did him leaving crush her so much?

Starlight isn't the only on with a secret though. Trixie has a secret as well, one that she's been thinking of finally revealing to her very best friend whom she has a serious crush on. But like with Starlight, this is a big secret, and it might be too much for Starlight to handle.

When the truth comes out, will these two friends be able to look at each other the same again? Or will the truth only bring them closer than ever.

Lips collide and hearts ignite and uh... other areas moisten, when love is in the air.
