The dark alicorn, Nightmare Moon, has been defeated. Banished to the moon, she will never again threaten the land of Equestria. But now, for Princess Celestia, the questions begin. Where did Nightmare Moon come from? How was she beaten? And more importantly, where is Princess Luna?

Probably the best thing to happen in Discord's long life was finding the magic of friendship. As much as the old Chaos Lord might complain, without it he would never have found so many that were dear to his heart.

When that heart finds itself empty, he comes to the Princess to ask a favor: allow him the opportunity to bring friendship to other dark hearts. All she has to do is lend him a statue.

The rest is in his chaotic claws.

In the aftermath, Wallflower confesses to Sunset that some of what wasn't recovered was Sunset's previous memories of Wallflower - and the relationship they had together.

Sunset and Trixie fail to stop Wallflower's plan, and now everyone at Canterlot High only remembers Sunset as a bully. Sunset has to go through High School proving once again that she isn't the girl she used to be. Unfortunately, she lost her old friends, but luckily she won't be alone. She had gained a new one, The Great and Powerful Trixie, supporting and being there for her all the way.

Sunset will learn how tough Trixie's life is, and it will make Sunset see her magician friend in a completely new light.

Following the events of making his newest book and reading it in person at the bookstore, Ahuizotl relishes in the adoration and devotion of his newly found fanbase, even if he wittingly or unwittingly managed to outcompete Daring Do and Caballeron's collaborative effort that's sitting across the street from him.

One might say after hearing his side of the story that he's finally not misunderstood by others anymore. Everyone knows the real him now.

Or...do they?

Could that really have been the truth he was telling?

Having spitefully ended her tutelage under Princess Celestia, Sunset Shimmer has fled through a magical mirror to another world. Deprived of her magic, stuck in unfamiliar surroundings and with no clear plan, things look bleak for Sunset and her self-imposed exile. But it seems as though she will not spend her first day in this strange place alone.

It's been a bit since Twilight became a princess, but sometimes she still wonders, "Why me?"

In response, Celestia invites Twilight to talk about it with her in Canterlot, to give her student further guidance.

(Loosely based on "It's A Wonderful Life" so if you've seen the movie or its countless parodies/homeages you know what this involves. Takes place before the end of Season 9 or any events concerning it.)

Life is full of choices and regrets. And every one of them comes with an interesting idea of what might've happened had certain events not played out the way they did. But none have ever had the ability to see what would've happened.

That is, until Applejack starts to wonder just how different life would be all over Equestria if she were never around. And it just so happens that Discord is the creature who can show her. Strictly as an observer of course.

Just how different is this world where Applejack never exists? What has changed, and more importantly, is it a change for the better or the worse?
