Lately, Spike has become a recluse. He won't go out. He won't try new things. All he does is stay inside the library. And Twilight has had enough.

Long ago, the Father of all Monsters gave birth to many creatures. Some monstrous, others wonderous. Hidden away for hundreds of years by the ponies that proceeded them, these creatures have largely faded into myth in the eyes of most. A very strange phenomenon has recently occurred in the land of Equestria as mysterious portals begin appearing in different locations of the land. But these are no ordinary portals - they are gateways to another world, and serve as a bridge for gigantic creatures to enter and roam Equestria! Including the King of all Monsters: Godzilla!
But how will the Monster King see the ponies and other inhabitants of Equestria? Friends or foes?

The dragons have invaded Ponyville and war has been declared between the two species! With the dragons controlling all of Ponyvile fetching the elements of harmony from Canterlot is impossible, so the mane six are forced to fight back however they can. Will Spike help his friends defend themselves, or will he accept the invitation to rule with the dragons?

Trixie has taken over Ponyville and sealed the town in a giant forcefield. Princess Celestia is in Saddle Arabia for important diplomatic talks, so it falls to Princess Luna to deal with the crisis. She immediately sends the Royal Guard to liberate Ponyville, but this task may be harder than it seems.

Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle. My brothers are Shining Armor, captain of the Royal Guard, and a dragon named Spike that I hatched when I was little. I have five friends that help me wield the Elements of Harmony, artifacts that protect Equestria from evil. I have a few other friends that are less important, but still great ponies nonetheless.

One catch, though. I am also a changeling Queen, and the friends and family I just mentioned are all my subjects, and children as well. They don't even know it, but everything's working out alright, so no reason to tell them! After all, it's not like a giant wave of love energy could suddenly reveal all the changelings in Canterlot, right? Right?

Part 2, Recollection: The Elements of Harmony try to get to the truth of the matter, changeling Queens begin their game of chess, Queen Citlali takes her Hive and runs from Canterlot.
