As dark forces work in the sidelines and our hero scrambles to get a feel for his surroundings, someone out there is pulling all the strings.

And that someone has a very special plan for one of Equestria's future saviors.

But, but how? HOW?! I think I'm gonna faint...

An elite team of seven ODST are sent to sabotage a Covenant Super Carrier when things take a turn for the worst: the carrier sets off radiation and jumps into slipsace, sending the seven into an unkown land of Equestria. They are scattered far and wide, with no knowledge of each other's lives. The land is inhabited by talking horses and the seven need to figure out what went wrong and not get banished by the local monarchy by sudden infiltration on her land. They seven also are known to be 'The Squad' and will they get back to New Mombasa and stop the glassing of it?

The past has always been a mystery to the ponies of Equestria. Even to the Princesses who've lived for millenniums don't fully know what the world was like long ago.

However when a mysterious figure emerges from deep underground, its discovered that he originated from an ancient civilization that existed long before even magic came to be and that their ancient ancestors creations may have unintentionally played a key role in shaping the world that they now live in.

But the most shocking thing of all, the figure himself isn't like anything that anypony has seen in all of Equestria.

This is my first MLP Fanfiction so I'd like to hear some constructive criticism.

Corporal Andrew White has served as an ODST for longer than thought possible, and he has seen things that would drive any normal man to insanity. Princess Twilight Sparkle is the only daughter of the queen of the night, Nightmare Moon, and the lord of shadows, King Sombra. She is unlike any other normal equine foal, mainly because she was born as an alicorn. Just like her parents, she has the acute ability of harnessing the full power of dark magic to the fullest of its power. Her and her parents rule the Crystal Kingdom with an iron-hoof with a strong and loyal alliance with the Griffon Kingdom. They are planning one of the biggest attacks on Equestria in over a thousand years. The great thing about their plan is, their enemy has no idea about it.

Unfortunately, they are dealing with the princess of Equestria, Princess Celestia and her most loyal of guards, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie.

The gore rating is for death and torture in later chapters. The teen rating may change depending on how I write how the death's and torture occur.
I got this idea while listening to the black metal band Dimmu Borgir with heavy rain in the background.

Twilight had been warned dark magic was dangerous. She thought she could handle it. Unfortunately dabbling in dark magic has left Twilight with a deadly disease that there does not seem to be a cure for. Will she succumb to the darkness, or will friendship and love be enough to make the remainder of her time happy?

For many years, citizens of Equestria have lived in peace and happiness, protected by the princesses and the bearers of Elements of Harmony; but soon, everything will change. This time there are no villains or unspeakable dangers; there's just war, hate, and ponies giving and taking lives. After a freak accident resulting in her mother falling into a coma, Twilight Sparkle put her magic studies aside to pursue medical science in an effort to save her. Eight years have passed, and Doctor Sparkle has successfully concocted the TS8 Formula, a potion that can separate the natures of goodness and evil that lurk within the hearts of us all.

All that remains is a small test to prove that both the Formula and such a separation are conclusive. Everything will be certainly fine . . . right?
