Garble's behavior towards Spike and his pony friends - despite being mimicked by his cronies - was unacceptable by the standards of the Elder dragons, and he was taken sorely to task for it. When the Elders decided an apology had to be delivered, Garble's twin sister, Garbledina, volunteered to deliver the apology. She claimed it was a sense of responsibility for her twin's behavior, but in truth she was curious about the 'runt' who so thoroughly got under his skin.

When she actually meets him, however, that curiosity quickly grows to something more. This comes as a shock to Spike and his friends...especially to a certain unicorn mare.

Spike seems to have moved on, while Rarity is stuck impressing him and trying to get him to have feelings for her once again. What Rarity doesn't know is Spike still loves her, but he's getting sick and tired of the way she treats him, even though he's a teenager now. Spike moves to Canterlot City and starts his school year at Canterlot High. Most of the girls start falling for Spike due to his cuteness and innocent personality. The only thing that stands in the girls' way is Spike's older brother, Scales. In order for the girls to get closer to Spike, they'll have to to spend some time with Scales as he and Spike are inseparable.

(Note: Spike's personality is more childish and cheerful in this story than in the show.)

Spike and the human Mane 7 are best friends and he helps them with everything no questions asked, one day the Principal asked them to stay the night at her place to watch over her son even though he can take care of himself.

They decided to make it a slumber party that ends with the girls giving him a special thank you gift for always helping and being there for them.
