A unicorn mare wakes up in Ponyville, with all her memories gone into a haze that prevents her from recalling them beyond her own name after suffering an injury. Now, with nothing from her past to rely on, she must start a brand new life in Ponyville as her life starts all over. The long summer in Canterlot City has come to an end. And for Sweetie Belle, not a moment too soon! She can now begin a fresh school year with the NLAC free from Diamond Tiara's schemes. With new found support from Silver Spoon and Rarity, Sweetie plans for this year to be the best she could possibly have.

But when a new student, who wears a mask and covers her entire body appears, a daunting challenge is thrown Sweetie's way. Will she be able to uncover the mask, see the tragedy behind it, and use her new lifestyle to help this mysterious transfer student?

The story starts 11 years in the future from where the show is at right now. Spike and Sweetie Belle are in their late teens, Twilight is in college, and the rest of the Mane Six have grown up quite a bit. With everypony occupied with their expanding personal lives, Spike and Sweetie Belle are left feeling isolated and forgotten by their friends and family. But their growing love for each other brings its own set of problems: When you're the only dragon for hundreds of miles, and you're in love with a pony, nothing is easy.

Coco Pommel's pulled out all the stops for her first Nightmare Night with her adopted daughter Babs Seed, and she's ready to throw the best holiday party she can. But, as she soon realizes after a poorly-timed bathroom break, leaving three foals alone with a cookie cake is never a good idea.
