This story is a sequel to Hard Reset

After the events of Hard Reset Twilight's life and mental well being are slowly returning to normal. Her recovery is cut short, though, when a letter arrives informing her that the time loop spell she cast is causing severe damage to space and time itself. In over her head, Twilight tries to summon anypony who will know how to fix it. The pony she gets is the last one she ever thought she would meet... and nothing like she expected him to be.

During her imprisonment on the Moon, the corrupted goddess had taken three young colts from Equestria, and raised them to learn her dark magic. And as she trains them to spread darkness across the realm, the boys begin to look upon Nightmare Moon as their loving guardian. It is these three colts who are the key to fulfilling their mother's wish; to live in disguise among the ponyfolk, and stop the Elements of Harmony from keeping back the beauty of eternal night.

Princesses Celestia and Luna are in for quite a shock when they get a surprise visit from their own parents: The rulers of the galaxy itself, King Artemis and Queen Solianna.

They haven't visited Equestria in two million years, and are excited to see what a great job their little 'Tia' and 'Lu-lu' has done. Unfortunately, the rulers of the galaxy are a bit 'out of touch.' What will they think of Luna's temper tantrum 1,000 years ago? Or Celestia's humiliating defeat at the hands of a giant love-bug during the wedding?

And of course, what about their faithful subjects, especially Twilight Sparkle and her rather interesting companions? And what will the subjects think when they realize the creators of the galaxy are just a couple of wackjobs?
