I'm going to make a new Instagram account called "CassyDashieScribbles" soon. Please follow if you want fun facts about my fics and more accurate times so you can know when new fics and chapters will come out. I'll also put on random stuff too....so if you're liking what you're seeing so far, please gimme a follow once the account is made! 1570490 Tips? Read as much as you can. Not just fanfiction, but published novels too. Read everything. At this point, I've probably read over 100 million words and I'm still going. Maybe more. But read, read, read. It'll give you things to draw upon and experiences you can't normally have. It'll also improve your vocabulary a lot, making your writing more diverse and with less repetitiveness.
Also, research. If you're curious about something, research it. If you want to include a detail you don't know much about, research it. I did a ton of research for Swan Lake, and it worked.
And practice writing descriptions. Dialogue is easy, but try and pick a specific thing and describe it as much as you can. It'll help too :)
