Great story, I’m just wrestling with my own feelings a bit. If I learned that someone brainwashed me to forget I had a daughter and depraved me from the chance to raise her as my daughter id be soooooo livid. Ik he technically helped raise her anyways but it wasn’t as her dad, AJ got to choose to raise her as a sister, Mac didn’t get a choice.
Good intentions or not they’ve broken a line of trust that if it were me idk if I could forgive. Good thing this is a fantasy story and Mac here is way more forgiving, cause I feel most wouldn’t have been.
Anyways good clop story, only issues I ever saw was that for the most part this story seemed to dunk on Babs a lot. Like in the original Babs story it showed how much he loved her and stuff but here it kindof showed that he prefers Bloom in every way. I feel the heart is large and it has space for both, no need to diminish what he had with Babs to try and inject Bloom into the mix.
In any case very hot story, would definitely be on board with a third story to make it a trilogy. Maybe Mac is mad at AJ and Granny so Babs and Bloom have to help Mac reconnect with them. And maybe it leads to them fooling around and having a second child with AJ. Then end the trilogy with a hot chapter of Mac and his incest herd fooling around together.
we can have AJ next and maybe Granny becomes younger after that.

Reasonable take however Big Mac is older now than he was and is better at putting two and two together. Now? He can probably see their point, although with equines IRL inbreeding is nothing uncommon in the real world.

The Zecora potion, I thought, was heavy handed and pointless. But, as if reading my mind, you went "Oh, you want heavy handed and pointless?!" and created that 5th chapter. It was like you were on a deadline and had to check off a few more incest boxes before publishing. You had this neat little tease like AJ was wanting "her turn" being the odd one out, but then you go into this convoluted story about how the Apple Family tree is just two snakes consuming each other's tails. If you wanted an ending that roughed up the reader and left them in the dust wondering what just hit them, then you succeeded!
And you didn't even say "molten silk" once! Changeling!
