For the longest time, it was RainbowPie. Because it was obvious in Over a Barrel.
Then I saw some wonderful RariPie stories that stole my heart.
After Testing Testing 1,2,3 it was TwiDash all the way. I seriously think that, canonically, Twilight and Dash are the best suited pair.
For my all-time top fave, though, I think I have to go with Sunset and Flash. It's another one built into cannon and the progression basically writes itself.
But when it comes down to it, the best ships are the ones that don't break the characters and take the natural steps needed to bring them together. Which you did perfectly here.
Babs starting with a prank makes all the sense in the world, as does getting so hornet you really don't give a fuck who it is you're with. Natural consequences lead to more natural desires. And time spent together builds a lasting relationship. A perfectly natural progression to a really cute ship.
