Gulheru

A Pole by birth, a Lawgiver by trade and a Trickster by choice. Altogether a most friendly, sociopathic madman. At your service...

Not exactly what I expected, but still a great one. It's rare to see mature romance written in this way - focusing on the romance rather than the action

I felt that the "action" will defend itself, but it's the emotional side of intimacy that really should be written about. After all, that creates the depth and meaning. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you! For too long have I read romance that focuses on the physical rather than the actual romantic part of it. Thank you so much for writing quality stuff. Can't wait for 'Journey with a Batpony' to be updated.

10179244

I'm very, very joyous that my style met your expectations. It was my goal to provide something meaningful.

If everything goes well, "Journey" should update in two days.

Fantastic story, Gulheru! Honestly I am not a fan of mature stories, but I have a few exceptions and this is definitely one of them. It is really only focused on romance, which is a rare thing. Oh and Midnight Wind proved to be a true gentlecolt

I've been trying my absolute best to avoid the traps of writing a "Mature" story and, honestly, I feel very satisfied with what I've managed to achieve. Thank you for the kind words, my friend.

10179251
Well then. If you would excuse my reaction.....

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

10179352

It is excused. I'm, myself, truly happy to get back into the thick of things. :pinkiehappy:

Noc-tral-yia

sounds so much like 'Australia'. Unless I'm pronouncing it wrong...that could be the case.

10179367

Heh, I'm afraid the noctrali are a bit too conceited and dogmatic to be dinkum Aussies. :twilightsheepish:

This is certainly one of the hottest things I've read on this site. Didn't cross my mind why before reading the comments but the focus on the romantic aspect of the intimacy definitely explains it. It gave the moment they were in much more meaning and significance.

Haven't read "Journey with a Batpony" yet, but Midnight Wind, the unique language I saw used, and the aforementioned lore have me intrigued. Batponies are one of my favorite species, which is part of the reason why my OC is part bat pony (and part kirin).

It was as if the world focused on nothing else but the two of them.

Careful Twilight, that sorta thinking can lead to Pinkie levels of Meta Awareness. You don't wanna go full Pinkie Pie.

Joking aside I overall quite enjoyed this fun little side romp, and very much worth the wait. It started off awkward, fitting neatly with how Twilight herself felt, and flowed into a warm and comfortable experience for the both, once again fittingly starting when they both dunked into a hot spring.

A moment of bliss they both can enjoyed before all Tartarus breaks loose when the Lords and Rowan Berry find out what they did. This also confirmed that Midnight feels the "red desire" for Twilight, even if he might have only felt it fleetingly back in the "Rendezvous with a Batpony" series, while also disproving his statement that a noctral can only feel it for another noctral. Serious implications in the long term to be sure, Twilight once again bringing "new knowledge" to the noctrals, this time through the most carnal of means.

And to go out on a humorous note. When Luna finds out about their relationship Twilight won't need to receive a note. She will be able to hear the sheer squeeeing from Canterlot all the way into the Mountains.

Extremely glad that I could convey the nature of the romance well enough. You are most welcome to the main story, of course, and I hope you will find it to your liking as well.

10179484

It took way too long, I think, but I'm glad to have written it. And, surely, there shall be consequences of what happened in the main story. After all, no loving deed ever goes unpunished, right? :raritywink:

Am I the only one here who prefers this kind of mature story over the usual clop on this site? :ajbemused:

10180365

Heh, why do you think I wrote it as I did? :twilightblush:

I'm truly glad that it was to your liking.

This was great and I enjoyed it a lot.

10180812

Happy to hear that.

10180365
Not by a long shot. This was stimulating, this was touching, this was engaging, this was even the right amounts of funny.

But more than anything, this was romantic. And that's what a lot of the run-of-the-mill clop tends to miss.

10183067

If all of that is so, then I have achieved my goal.

10183067
I’m glad I am not the only on thinking that

Inspiring and fascinating. Slight lack of intimate interactions, yet so full of pink romantic bubbles.

10249774

Thank you. I leave more intimate interactions to the mind of the reader and some characters gaining more experience in those matters. :raritywink:

10249778
By the way, could I translate this beautiful work and share it with my friends?

10249825

Why, naturally! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!

10249830
Oh thank you! Also, would it bother you too much to translate the bat pony language in the story into English? (Or maybe it can be interpreted in one's own way, I dunno:twilightblush:)

10249860

I think the best solution would be to send you to this - dictionary of Noctraliyar by yours truly. :raritywink:

10249949
Wow:pinkiegasp:just……wow. Amazed that there even exists a dictionary for this. You truly devoted yourself to your stories:raritystarry: looking forward to more!

10249977

See you around the main "Journey", then!

10179251
I love the book cover of Twilight and Midnight who drew it?

10294458

A marvelously talented artist known as DoeKitty. Do check her out, her art is quite remarkable.

Knowing Twilight, I knew that she wouldn’t jump immediately into action. I’m very happy that after all they have been through, they finally had a chance to express their love. I also wasn’t expecting this kind of approach in a mature story. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Well done man!

10546503

Thank you very kindly.

10183067

I'd bet that a lot of us clop writers are running off of absolutely zero experience on the subject or anything that even remotely relates to it, heh

Or at least I sure am... :fluttershysad:

well done on writing the emotional side of intimacy, and capturing the essence of love itself. although I can't help but wonder if she's gonna have a bun in the oven :pinkiecrazy:

10625704

Hah, yes, seems natural and beautiful for new life to be started in such wonderfully romantic circumstances. But I cannot tell. :raritywink:

Now that I finally reached this point in the story I can honestly say this is beautiful passion. It's so cleanly and eloquently written the M rating was not really needed. Though I understand and agree why you did it. Well done. *Back to Journey*

11001248

Why, thank you so much, I am pleased to hear you have enjoyed this approach.

I will say, your writing style makes this the greatest erotica that I've ever read. It was adorable, passionate, and rather wholesome.

11689308

Why, thank you so much, I do greatly appreciate that.

11689315
You're welcome.

Ab Bogine! That was a most tastefully written scene of love!
Now to continue the Journey and see how this will come back to bite the both of them and hopefully see them overcome their trials and tribulations together.

11741916

Thank you kindly. I was always hoping to approach the topic with the right amount of respect.
