Pony fan inspired by great writers such as Pen Stroke and Conner Cogwork

This story is a sequel to Rarity's Foal

Rarity is given notice by Yves St Lariat, her former employer and absent father of her foal, that he intends to take her to Court for theft.

A grave injustice is at hoof, but Twilight is going to call in a favour.

Will she be found innocent or guilty?

:moustache: Well that's messed up
:ajbemused: Can't say I don't like it
:pinkiegasp: I don't believe it
:rainbowlaugh: That going to leave a stain
:trollestia: Well real justice was served
:twilightoops: How's that?
:duck: Lariat was struck by a fully loaded out of control cider carriage that was on fire from...:moustache: over heated brakes?
:moustache: Guess the driver was scared of a little bitty dragon who has diplomatic immunity . . . You know the Ambassador to the Dragon Lands warning him about the dangers of over heated brakes
:facehoof: Spike....
:moustache: I had witnesses too
:ajbemused::pinkiehappy::rainbowwild::twilightoops::raritystarry::fluttercry: that poor Yves St Lariat didn't know what hit him....
 Yeppe ma brakes were over heated alright!
:trollestia: At least the cider wasn't harmed - but we'll have to do something about that stain in the middle of the road....
:moustache: cider everyone?

That's the name of the story's antagonist, Yves St Lariat. His name is a ponification of the French fashion designer Yves St Laurent.

Watch out for that little purple guy with the mustache - he'll get you if you cross Rarity!

Brilliant comment once again - I really look forward to your witty comic scenarios!

:moustache: that was close
:facehoof: magic is fire proofing

Whoa. Great job on the start of this story. I LOVED how the news was so bad that Twilight ONLY refrained from swearing because Pearl and Sweetie were in earshot AND the fact that Rarity is trying not to either abuse her authority or allow her friends to abuse THEIRS. Definitely looking forward to seeing Yves get his (we know it's only a matter of time before karma bites him in the flank HARD).

Anyway, on to the next chapter.

Great job on Celestia's appearance and letting Rarity have the use of her lawyers for this case. And, yeah, the "argument" concerning "royal protocol" was pretty funny.

Definitely looking forward to the final chapter.

Excellent job on the exchanges, characterization and wrap-up in this story. Loved how Lariat's reputation got demolished so thoroughly AND how Rarity got the last laugh even though she TECHNICALLY lost the case.

All in all, a VERY good short story.

I can't pretend he's terribly nice.
Read on and see if you're right ...

Pearl does like her tummy tickles!

Thank you for your kind words - I'm pleased you enjoyed it!

That she does. :-D Which is completely understandable. :-D
