I have been the stop to a argument like this. No seriously. I had to drag two of my cousins apart in order for them to not beat each other bloody, before stopping their mother from attacking me, because i was 'manhandling' them and 'stealing' their stuff.
They stopped playing Pokemon around me and even apologized for their mother (my aunt). I now hear about tjem playing Pokemon GO together and even helping each other out, while still viewing their own opinions and don't force them on others or each other. I was happy i could help.
Sad part is my aunt still hates me (mostly because of an entirely different reason, that i won't talk about) and two years have passed since the argument and wont let me visit. (i do get to chat to them on the phone in secret though.)
