Gaahhh, I can't stress enough how much the original 1991 animation was my favorite Disney princess movie, so this idea is just awesome.
I really enjoyed how you changed up the epilogue to match the characters, and didn't change the characters to match the story. I hope to see more!

The original Beauty & The Beast is one of my favorite classic movies from my childhood, while the live-action remake didn't make an impact with me at all... This however, is very intriguing & is worth my time & attention. I can't wait for more!
Pretty good first chapter. Now I see a Flash Sentry tag and an ooc warning, I hope he's not gonna be playing the role of Gaston since honestly Timber makes more sense for the role. Not that I have anything against him I just mean personality wise he fits surprisingly well.

Sorry, but yeah, it's Flash. Timber didn't even pop into my head as a potential Gaston. But you want to know who I originally wanted to play that role? Trixie. Personality-wise, they match perfectly. Everything else? Not quite. River suggested Flash, and I couldn't think of anybody better at the time.

The residence of the castle, especially the Princess did not deserved to get screwed over for his selfish ways. I don't think that was fair of them getting the worse of the curse while he gets a slap on the wrist and then fled from the scene.
Is he going to appear again or is that the last we heard from him?
Regardless, I love the original movie and I'm liking what I read so far. So I'll be tracking this.

Is his really the lighter punishment, if there is no way to remove it? And would you rather be cursed to not have your original body, yet remain sane, or retain your original form, yet be both paranoid and sought after/scorned for the rest of your life? And don't forget that the Princess chose him over her morals. So he was not entirely at fault.
And no, he will not be returning. I may make a passing reference to a "raving mad womanizer of a Prince" in a future conversation. But that would be far off.

Sane in that her mind is largely unchanged. The wording implies it only affects her personality and actions, not her mind. But who knows how two years under its effects have impacted her mind.

The thing about Timber? Human Twilight is shown to have feelings towards him in canon. Whereas she is shown to not have feelings towards Flash in canon. Also, when first planning out this story, I completely forgot about Timber. I also had someone in mind for Lumiere. Lefou, well, I thought that two numbskulls would play that position better than any one character could.
Pretty good, love those refrences to the other Disney stories.
