"Be good to yourself, because nobody else has the power to make you happy."

Spoiled and Filthy Rich are so over. Witness the joy. Savour the moment. Start saving your money again. Before all that though, a final moving send-off for the lady herself. Enjoy!

Will probably never be canon... but you never know, right?

A sort-of sequel to Filthy Rich Gets Divorced! (Almost) , but definitely able to be read without seeing the original.

Wouldn't surprise me if that would happen in the show. Sometimes, I really wonder what Filthy saw in that mare.

8412958 Beats me, though I will say she at least seemed to "pretend" to be nice when they first met. Now however, it seems she could care less what ponies think of her. I suspect Filthy not divorcing her yet, is because he knows Spoiled would take everything he has, even custody of Diamond Tiara.

8412967
Makes sense. My head canon is that she is actually a caring mother but rarely shows it. Until Diamond stood up to her, causing her to change

I wish this was the case.

8412976 I would hardly call someone whose goal with raising a child, was to mold said child into the spitting image of themself, a caring parent.

8413202
Yeah, but that doesn't mean she can change into a caring parent or that her caring side is buried deep within.

8413202
I guess it kind of depends on what kind of person said parent was.

8413205 Yes, one could certainly hold out hope for Spoiled to change for the better. But given what little we saw of her in Season 6, it seems she ignored the wake-up call to change her behavior on her own.

8413221
Yes but that doesn't mean we can change it in our stories.

8412999 So do I, but I doubt they'd give the matter much attention, considering all the Rich family are bit part players in the show these days... (sigh) :ajsleepy:

8413214 Well, probably not in Spoiled's image, that's for sure. :applejackunsure:

8413221 I doubt that'll happen anytime soon now. Mind you, I think stranger things have happened :rainbowwild:

8413223 Correct. Imagination has NO limitations. :raritystarry:

8413247 One thing that's certain about this fandom, there's always someone willing to "explore" the motivations of villains to make them more complex, no matter how simple and shallow they might seem.

One can only hope...:rainbowwild:

You know why divorce is so expensive? Because it's worth it! :rainbowlaugh:

I see why my friend tells us, "Just get married in a courthouse, don't spend money on the wedding. Save it for the divorce."

Diamond might want to go to Egghead Castle.

8413264 Yep, present company included :raritywink:
8413283 Especially if the children are suffering... :scootangel:
8413411 Your friend is very wise. :twistnerd:

8413283 Did you know that Einstein got divorced?

8413564 10/10! 10 outta freakin 10!:rainbowlaugh:

Why was there a guilty verdict!? during a divorce hearing?

My guess - Celestia just plain kind of forgot that it wasn't a trial.

8413672 I think Spoiled's crimes were so heinous, it became more like a trial than a divorce. :rainbowlaugh:

8413643
He also did his own cousin. What's your point?

8414232 Ostensibly one of the most intelligent men ever got a divorce. Do you think you're smarter than Einstein?

8414284
Is there some point that you're trying to make? Are you anti-divorce or something?

8414301 Just thought i'd point out a bit of relatied trivia. That's all.

8414313
A lot of famous people get divorced. It's really not that relative.

...Spoiled who ?!

She could go back to her old name "Spoiled Milk".

Perfect for any Spoiled Nightmare Collection.

I can't help but to think that if I was not on the brink of death when my own ex had left, I'd had done the same. However I must admit that this story does come very close to many people whom I've known. So I will give credit where credit is due. Bravo good author, Bravo!

So freaking cathartic. Well done, my man (presumably). :moustache:

That's not even close to how divorce proceedings work.

I mean, perhaps those things would be taken into account when assigning custody of the child (and visitation rights), but a guilty verdict. Sorry, this veered straight into the territory of stupid.

8414170
heinous? Isn't there like...a special unit for victims that takes care of those crimes?

DUN DUN

Who knows. The comic may touch upon that

every time I read this and I get to "The Walk of Shame" I see this, https://youtu.be/DRIE09JotTo

Allow me to give you your 100th well-deserved like. Very well done!
