This story is a sequel to Lightning Bolt of Rome
Warning: The following fic is currently unedited. And is a sequel to "Lightning Bolt of Rome."
On a mission to document all the information in the world by Princess Platinum from a newly formed kingdom of Equestria, Star Swirl the Bearded and his students are sent off into the wilderness. Along the way, they come across an unstable, but highly charged cloud filled with magic. Lightning from the cloud strikes them, and they wake up in an entirely new world and kingdom. They land in the Kingdom of Britain, whose ruler, Queen Elizabeth Tudor, is facing an incoming invasion by the Spanish Armada.

This is a pretty good story tho there are a few grammerical and spelling mistakes but I suppose that is to be expected since it is unedited. I will be tracking this story and I hope to see where it goes. :)

Aww, I was hoping for the Spanish perspective, gotta be terrifying when every thing going as planned in one moment and then the world turned upside down in another. Anyway, I'm enjoying this greatly! And I still wonder about other sequel, are you gonna do another time period after this story inevitably end? I understand if there won't be another sequel, for all great things do end some day.

You know, if I do get the chance to continue on the series, I have wondered exactly what time period to do it? Regarding Ponies on Earth or Human in Equestria stories that involve characters in the past, it’s usually done around the Second World War. But for me, I see plenty of potential stories settings that can predate the 1850’s. Why, I wondered that if were to do it again, perhaps I could set it in the 18th century. Only... where and when exactly because there has been a good deal of things to write about. From the fall of the Baroque music of Vivaldi and Bach to the rise of Mozart. To the innovations of the Enlightenment movement. Or even the revolutions in America and France. The questions, of course, is the setting and what kind of pony to do it with.

Hmm, if you don't mind the religion-heavy scenario, perhaps you can go with the islamic golden age or the number of crusades(1st, 2nd or 3rd). Or if we're getting modern, maybe go with the Great War cause god knows how little coverage the Great War gets even if it was the 1st world war or the Korean and Vietnam wars. Or perhaps you can go with the rise of the Mongols or the Japanese-Shogunate Clusterfuck(Excuse my french).
I wonder if those old Roman bath houses would give a clue of the ponies who have been here in the past. Like markings or statues and such.

I'm loving this! I read the first one a year or so back and enjoyed it immensely! This sequel is turning out to be a great addition to this "Purple Storm Cloud Portal Thing in Equestria Leading to Earth" universe.

To that I have some good and bad news. The bad news is that I won't be able to finish this right now as I'm currently trying to write up and finish a story that should had been done a long time ago. But the good news is that once I get that out of the way, I'm going to tackle this thing once again. Besides, the seventh season final has given me a sense of direction.

I'm not going to lie, for a while I had trouble trying to come up with something as I kept getting distracted. However, I think I may have come up with a way that I could try to finish these stories. It would take longer than usual, but at least something is getting done.

Short answer: I have no idea.
Long answer: As of January 2023, I'm painfully aware of the enormous laundry list of stories that I haven't completed yet. Stories such as Friends and Fairytales, Paper Romance, this story, Seven-self Portraits, The Honeymoon, Inverno's Opus in A Minor, My Little World, The Forgotten Melodies of Josèf Boulogne, Le Prince et le Menteur, Hoity: the Untold Story, and Inverno - the Music Catcher. That's ten stories that are unfinished. While ideally, I would want to get it to where every single one of them is completed, I found that either there are other ideas that got my attention or I just haven't been able to get around to.
Not only that, but I'm also working with two other people at the same time. I've agreed to help assist in their projects that are taking up a good chunk of my time, energy, and focus. Especially when those said projects are outside of MLP that I know will take a good deal of time and devotion. There's also a third person that wants me to get involved too in writing up a new story as well.
Oh, and on top of that, there's the real-life issue of me being a university student. This involves having to spend an hour driving just to get to the university, attending classes, taking on assignments, reading, doing projects, and preparing for tests as well. As well as having to take care of other things about family and friends that take up priority.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to get back and finish this story. Because after all, I have a pretty good idea of how this should end. However, due to circumstances, much of which are outside of my control, I've found that having to not only try to complete this story but ten others is an overwhelming task that can only be done in smaller bites. I have no idea when I'll be able to get around to doing it. I hope in the near future, but when is that? Who knows. But be aware that I have other things on my plate then just this story.
